There is a Time
Ecclesiastes 3:1-17 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is a time under the heavens for each and every thing. We shouldn't be surprised when things happen that are unexplainable. We shouldn't be afraid of anything because God is by your side if you're one of His. Things in our lives can not and do not separate us from Gods love. We've truly experienced very little in our lives. We should embrace what is in our lives at that moment. Laughter is good for our lives as it brings a joy. One must be born again to reap the benefits from God. Romans 8:28 Having wealth or being famous does not mean you'll be happy. Thru the trouble we have hope. Romans 8:29-33 If God was to remove His hedge of protection from around us, it's no telling what would happen. Romans 8:34 No matter what others say or try to teach you, never let Jesus go. Romans 8:35-39 Just because you're going thru a trial doesn't mean that you've done something wrong or that God has stopped loving you. Check yourself and make sure your sins are forgiven. If they've been forgiven then trust in God that His love for you has grown and not wavered. When you pray, pray with confidence for your lost and loved ones. Regardless what happens in this life whether you live or die, know that in Heaven you'll be with Christ. Be ready for the battle.
Preached by Steve Howard on March 15, 2017 (Wednesday).
The Wiles of the Devil
Ephesians 6:10-18 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Satan is a created being and is no different than the angels in heaven. Satan has many tactics that he uses on the children of God on a daily basis. The thief has come to steal, kill and destroy. The thief is the devil and the wicked spirits that serve him. Their are enough to spread across the world. The devil does not have free rein of a christian because we are protected by the shield of God. John 10:10, 2 Cor 2:11, Eph 6:16, 1 Peter 5:8 We truly have an enemy and we can not stand in the flesh to fight him. It takes something greater than the flesh to fight him because he is in the sprint therefore must be fought in the spirit. He is not omnipresent but has many demons that do his handy-work. This world currently is the devils domain until Jesus comes back. The very thing that we live in, the flesh, wants to live in the world because of it’s lust. Nothing has changed since Adam and Eve because he is still deceiving and lying to people everyday. What a terrifying thing to be able to see with our eyes the spiritual warfare that goes on all around us. If we are saved then we are protected by Gods great hand and satan can not get to us unless God allows it. When Jesus died, He died for ALL but many will not submit to Him. If you’re playing with the devil he will take you further than you ever thought you would go quicker than you ever thought. When you light a match and place that flame under your hand, you will pull your hand back because there is a nerve that warns you of danger. Just as that nerve warns you, God also warns you of the dangers of the devil. Satan wants to destroy your testimony if you’re saved. Satan will use anything he can to tear you down. He will use religion itself to bring you down. If you are saved then you’re going to heaven but that doesn’t mean that if you play with the devil that he will keep people around you lost and going into hell. We hear it everyday, pastors having affairs because satan laid a woman in their lives. We as humans are ignorant to satan’s lies and deceptions.

The Fields of Grace
Ruth 2:2-19 (Part of the Ruth 2 series).
There is never a coincidence with God. God is no respect of persons. Just because you're different doesn't mean that God love you any more or any less than another. With Gods children they don't have to go through this life starving for His glory and grace. With Gods grace there comes a protection that the devil can't touch you. There comes a joy when you stay with God and His grace. When you're thirsty is this life, God has drawn the water of life for us to drink freely. Happiness doesn't come from the world, it comes from Gods grace. Grace paid for your entrance to the table of God to be filled by the Spirit of God. When things in your life fail you, fill it with grace. When there seems like nothing else is working, fill it with grace. Do you have a "rags to riches" experience? Do you trust Jesus Christ?
Preached by Tommy Boring on March 20, 2016 (Sunday Evening).
An Attitude of Gratitude
Ephesians 5:8-20 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Giving thanks always for all things. There are some things we don't give thanks for cause we don't like them. So how can you give thanks for all things even the bad? We must understand and know that nothing touches us without it being ok'd by God first. Widows that's lost their loved ones that still lift their hands to say that God has been so good to them. There is plenty to complain about in this world in the flesh. There isn't a person that has not suffered. Those that suffer and are Christians discover that God helps them and is present in the sorrow. The lost will suffer alone and without God's help. Our problem is that we are afraid of Gods finest because it requires sorrow, purification and trials. But through them all, God is their and in full control. All things work to the goodness of God. The good stuff isn't usually just laying on the surface. What would you do if something bad happens to you? Prepare yourself for those things to happen. Put all your trust in the Lord.

Prone To Roam
(Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We are all like sheep wondering away from the Shepherd. The Shepherd doesn't leave the sheep, the sheep stray from the Shepherd. But keep in mind, we are not alone as other sheep stray as well. A lot of times we don't realize that we have wondered. We are walking and feeding and don't look up to make sure we haven't strayed from the Shepherd. Once we go astray we should listen for the shepherd's voice. Like sheep we have no self defense without the shepherd's protection. The Shepherd will leave the safe guarded flock to hunt for the wondering one. Do you want a pasture to eat in? Do you want protection? Do you want joy?
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 27, 2015 (Sunday Evening).
