The God That Ponders The Heart
Proverbs 21:2 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is nothing that one can hide from God. He can everything from the thought to the action. God doesn't work on the outside but the inside. Most walk around and think we've got God fooled by hiding. The great thing is that He knows what we are capable of. He knows each and everyone of us when we were formed in the womb.

David was the youngest of his siblings, a runt. He was given the lowest job, a Shepard, but he loved it. God seen that David was important and had him anointed by Samuel. David went out to fight Goliath because Goliath stood against his God. David had confidence that his God would take care of him no matter what. Everyone around David looked at him from the outside, they judged him by his outward appearance not knowing what God knew and could see. They were focused too much on the outward appearance. Just as we do, we are too quick to judge someone based on their appearances. We also miss out on victories because we are too focused on the mountain.

When God ponders the heart He doesn't care what we think because He knows. He will address the sin with you but we like to justify those sins. He tries to mold us into more like Him by trying to get us to repent of those sins.

The Will of God
Romans 8:26-28 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Have you ever been in a place where you didn't know what to do? Things that are known of the will of God, everything that's inside the Bible is His will. Gal 1:14; Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins. It wasn't something that just happened. It's not Gods will that anyone should die lost. It's a personal choice when God calls that Salvation is excepted. 1 Thes; it's Gods will that we all to be holy. We should try to live sinless at all times. 1 Thes 5:13; we should also give thanks to God no matter what happens. Those are things that are known about Gods will. One must read and study Gods Word in order to know what His will is for our lives.

Just as we know what His will is, there are also things we don't know. Don't we beat ourselves up over doing the right things? Most all people don't want to do the wrong things. Now the devil likes to confuse and he can come to us and whisper to us and we are fooled into thinking it was God. This is why we are to try the spirits. Rom 8:26 is clear stating that we usually don't know what to do. Christ Himself wrestled with it in the garden making sure He was to follow thru with His sacrifice, His crucifixion. So how do we know we are doing the right thing, the Spirit of God dwells inside those that are saved and it makes intercession for those. This is the direct connection to doing the right things. Now if you've got sin in your heart then you're going to have a really hard time hearing and knowing what God says to you. This is because sin blocks out Gods communication because He can't help over the sin. Rom 8:27 this speaks about the shepherding of Jesus Christ searching out the heart and knowing the mind and whether it's truly yearning for God. If the mind of the spirit yearns for God then He makes intercession in our behalf to God His father. Rom 8:28 clearly states that ALL things work together for those that love God. The variable is that if we love the world or some of it then you're not 100% in love with God. That has always been the problem with us as humans. We should love Him more than anything else and if we do, nothing else will matter because it will ALL be taken care of.

This all sounds simple but the devil comes against us and causes us to doubt and fear. This happens because he wants to destroy us all. The little things are usually what we struggle with but put your focus on God and your relationship with Him.

What More Do You Want?
Numbers 13:23-14:4 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).

Only God is sovereign and only He knows our hearts. People usually think that everything goes to Heaven when it dies. Dogs, cats, loved ones and other living things. The truth is that only saved living souls will go to Heaven.

The children of Israel had proof of God, grapes that took two men to carry that they all ate from, water that flowed from a rock once struck by a stick, in the desert a cloud followed them to shade them, fire to guide them by night, food that fell from the sky and yet they did not believe. Still today when God performs miracle after miracle all around you and yet you still don't believe. The question is not about whether God exist but if He's the son of God. We acknowledge that God created the world that we live in because there is proof all around us. We live in His creation, we take the breath that He gives, we see birth after birth and yet we still want MORE proof that He Is God. It only took one negative report for the entire group of Israelites to doubt Gods work.

Each day, each second the adversary is lying to you trying to get you to doubt Gods existence. One can not believe the doubts, lies from the enemy and yet still believe in Christ. If you don't believe the bible simply look towards history, the walls of Jericho fell down. A great and fortified wall which fell by simply walking around it. 40 years the Israel people wondered around in a circle all on the wilderness until all the unbelievers died. Joshua and Caleb was a old man and was forced to wait 40 more years just because others wouldn't believe and yet once the time came they still believed. John 12:42-43 even then people believed in a god but didn't believe in God. You can say all day long that you know or believe in what God can and did do, but in the end, salvation is the only way to Him. Salvation is a confession in Jesus Christ and that He was risen from the grave. Rom 10:8-10 what does the bible say?

Are You Ready
Matthew 25:1-13 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
No man knows the hour or the day when Christ will come back. If you knew the day, what kind of person would you be? The influences that your fellow church members hold is a great deal to God and to others. All one has to do is to be ready. Just be ready to meet God with salvation. We as Christians are to be looking for His second coming. The unprepared are simply called foolish, for show. How many times do you enter into Gods presence unprepared? One must be called in order to be saved. The wise makes preparation doing all that's required. Acts 1:7 it doesn't matter if we knew the time or not in Christ's coming. Does the Holy Spirit truly dwell in you? The Word must be preached and it MUST cut or hurt when preached because it's to help and to reproof. It's sharper than any two edged sword. If it doesn't hurt, then it's not the Word of God that's being preached. 1 Tim 5:19 we should be cleaned and prepared. Is there anyone that you can think of that keeps their lamps trimmed and their vessel of oil? The wise put value into the oil that they had. It was needed, it was a must to have therefore they went prepared. The oil just as salvation can not be purchased, it's a gift and it must be given by only one person only. There will come a time when all preparation will come to an end but until then, get prepared.

Christian Assembly
Matthew 18:15-20 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Three points are revealed in Mat 18:20. Christian assemblies are appointed. It was appointed that on a certain day that a body of believers would get together to honor God. Not everyone could meet tonight but God knows whom they are if they could actually make it. If a famous person was appointed to be at the church house and folks knew about it, we would have to find other places for them all to park because we wouldn't be able to house them all. Some will get discouragement because of the low attendance but God dealt with the low attendance. God will bless in just two people as He will in a million in attendance. Our church times are an actual scheduled appointment that we have with God. The second point is the how. Whenever at least two gather in HIS name, no other purpose but His, He would be there. A hundred people could declare a time to gather together but if they all left Jesus at home, God will not be there. The third point is if the other two are upheld, God WILL be in the midst of them. It only takes two, in agreement to meet God, for God to come and visit with them. Hebrews 10:25
