Where Is Your Faith?
Luke 18:9-14 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There are two types of people that come to the temple, the lost and the saved. We all have a part to do to within our lives that God has called us to do. Christ came for everyone not just a few. Those that humble themselves before God will be exalted. If it were not for God, we wouldn't have anything. We often think we have everything under control. Do you have your faith in your church? What about yourself? The bible teaches that we should help those and not judge them. How many times do you say "me" or "I" in your prayer? Your prayers come from the condition of your heart. Once you realize that you are truly a sinner and what God has done for you, that is when love comes in. We've all fallen short of Gods glory but He still loves us. Is your faith in the church roll?
Preached by Jeff Patton on May 18, 2014 (Sunday Morning).
Don't You Talk About My Momma!
Exodus 20:7 (Part of the Revival 2013 series).
We love you only because Christ loved us first.  The Lord wants to heal your heart. Our father knows what we have need of before you ask. It's important we don't use his name in vain. He must increase and I must decrease. Do not be as the hypocrites are and have vain repetitions. Instead of asking for something, repent! We can accomplish something if we don't pray in vain. You can't praise him with sin in your heart. The name of Jesus should be honored and lifted up. Do you worship in vain?  Too many people want to speak but you should be slow to speak and quick to listen.  No more is it a chore to come to Gods house. Sometimes your lost buddies or your lost families are expecting something from you. But, your heart must be near to him. They believed because they were preaching in the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost. The results are immediate. If you love him you will keep his commandments. Quite making a mess out of his name. God gives the increase. The men who were led by the Holy Ghost made progress. Cry out to Jesus! We are too relaxed. There's only one great one! The only sustainability is the blood of Jesus Christ. You can't take a break from god and expect to just pick up where you left off. People fight over money or power but without Jesus it's all in vain. If your program is not seasoned with the Holy Ghost it isn't profitable. You can't put anybody's name with Jesus to break free of sin. There's something wrong if the name of Jesus doesn't cause you to recognize what he did for you. Many called but few are chosen. Everything you say or do should speak Jesus. Before revival you have to comprehend the name of Jesus. We are proud of ourselves. Anything you do is in vain if you aren't right with god. Call upon the name of The Lord while he may be found. We are required to live right. We have in our man made products but lacking in the trust of god. Satan himself was vain. Pride will keep people from true salvation. God allowed his only lamb to cleanse your sin. Have you said the name of The Lord in vain. Will you enter the kingdom of heaven. Anytime you say his name in a useless way it's saying his name in vain.
Preached by Jeremy McNally on June 19, 2013 (Revival).
Are You Ready To Go?
2 Kings 20:1-5 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live like we know as if tomorrow will be there. No one knows when death will come. We all will die and not live. If their is something in your life that needs to be fixed, do it now. Do you have anything in your life that holds you back? Do you expect to die or be incapacitated tomorrow? No one really wants to die, but if its your time to go, you're gone. We all get caught up in our small little selves. When was the last time you wept before God?
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 2, 2012 (Sunday Morning).
Have You Felt It?
John 4:23-24 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
