Through The Eyes Of A Blind Man
John 9:1-41 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There are many that find that the only way to Heaven is Jesus. Many of cults and religions find it offensive that there is but only one way. Now the story of the blind man has several points but we will focus on just two. The church didn't know this blind man that lived in their own community. The first thing they did was to challenge who Jesus was saying the He wasn't of God. Jesus Christ was God incarnate. There are religions out there today that claim that Jesus was just a man as you and I. The second statement was that Jesus Christ was a sinner because He did this act on a sabbath day. The blind man could see who Jesus Christ is but the church could not. The blind man asked the church to prove themselves in Moses' law where a person received their sight. There was only one person that could heal a person that was born blind and that was Jesus Christ, God. There is only one prayer that God will hear from a sinner and is the prayer of forgiveness of their sins to be saved. A lot of sinners pray but they waste their time and breath because God will not hear them because they are not His. Christ was sinless and on the cross He took upon all the sins of the world become a sacrifice for us all that would be live in on Him.

A Deadly Sin
John 8:1-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
A lot of Christians these days want to point out others sins in front of everyone. It's not everyone's business what bad things that are happening in someone's life or in your church. We must be careful how we bring things up to others. These people brought this woman and made a scene with her in front of everyone. She knew she was in the wrong, no one had to say anything to bring that to light. This woman was embarrassed and if she was left alone with nothing happening she probably would have felt mad, angry, and bitter towards the church. If we were still under the law there would be none of us that would be able to keep them. According to the 10 Commandments, if one of those rules were broken then you'd be stoned to death. How many times have you been put to death today for breaking just one of those commandments today? When our brothers and sisters are down or in a sinful nature we should want to help them out of the ditch. The church should be lifting up their pastor because they have downer days as well. We should be pleasing our neighbors. This can be done in different ways not just by works. If you're pleasing God then you'll want to please your neighbor. Thinking about the life of Jesus. Do you think He had the thoughts of doubts? We know He did at one point because He was scared and prayed to make sure He was to do what His father was telling Him to do. Sin is sin no matter how big or small we want to label them.

Will You Believe In Jesus Christ
John 6:53-59 (Part of the Communion Services series).
Jesus was God in the flesh. Many don't want to accept the fact that Jesus is God in the flesh. They view Him as just a simple man. Jesus Christ is part of the third part of the Godhead. Unless you accept Jesus Christ as whom He is, you may have NO part of Him. All one has to do is just believe. The communion service is just a representation of the broken flesh and bitter blood of Jesus Christ. When one partakes of the bread and wine they are saying that they accept Christ as being the Son of God. The only restrictions that we as our church has on the communion is that one must be born again to partake of it. Jesus was born of a virgin, He walked sinless on earth and He was sacrificed for our sins. There has been NO other person that's done that. It's simple, one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the only way to Salvation.

Dining With God
John 12:1-3 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
|Gal 2:22, Christ lives in us if you've been saved. Hopefully when you've come to the house of God you've prepared to dine with God. There are times that the meal that God has prepared isn't as sweet as we think it should be. We shouldn't turn our nose up to it as its good for us. John 6:35, God is the bread of life. When one comes to eat, Christ will satisfy. Family is good but Gods family is so much better. They work when no one is watching and uplifts others in Christ thru Christ and their obedience.
Worship is a must. Some of us get out of worship but we find ourselves down and needing to go back to worship. Sometimes we think we can do it ourselves, but we can't.
Salvation is the best thing from the meal. Have you ever seen someone else's salvation and their excitement? If a Christian denies Christ then you will become a stumbling block to others.
Martha is hospitable. Martha was a busy and was serving others. God blessed her with a gift of serving others. You should be welcoming as Martha when it comes to your church. She was practical, straight to the point. We should be to the point when it comes to sharing Christ with others. We shouldn't speak with words of great elegance only to confuse those that don't understand them.
Mary was a humble person. She was one of the first ones to the tomb of Christ. Mary was usually always found at the feet of Jesus. John 20:16, referred to Jesus as her Master. She was filled with 7 Devils when Jesus met her to which He promptly removed, Mark 1:22-24. 1 John 5:8, what God gives nothing can take away. We should be in great awe of what He does.
Lazarus sat at the table with Jesus the one that had just raised him from the dead. Just imagine what he would have thought. While Martha and Mary served Jesus and the table while Lazarus sat and thought of the one that raised him. John 17:1

All Is Yours
1 Corinthians 3:21-23 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
|God has promised us a few things and His promises are true. God has called us out from amongst the world to be a different people. God is not limited by anything. He is the creator of ALL things and therefore controls it ALL! When God saves someone they are saved for eternity because that is one of His promises, He doesn't change His mind.
It matters how you live because others are learning by your walk. We should not worship "men" like pastors, priests or great leaders. Preachers are called of God and all have their own calling of how they teach and bring the word whether they are extraordinary or ordinary. The man of God should at all times preach Gods Word and nothing else and if He wavers should be confronted in love according to His word. God is the same God from the hills of Tennessee to Rome!
Not only is the men of God that preach His word are ours, but the world also. This means anything in this world can be used by Him to make us better and work us to His will. The devil will come to you and offer you the world for your love for him but Satan doesn't have that authority. Satan could offer you the keys to Fort Knox but that would be for your own benefit. God doesn't need the gold or all the cash in this world.
People worry too much about life because it's unknown. If we knew life then we would worry more because of the known end and struggles thru it. When one wakes up and realizes they have to go to work yet again, stop and thank God for being able to do so instead of complaining.
Death is also ours that is of Christ's. This is because He has defeated death and it has no hold on His children. The only thing that will happen at the end of our life is that God will take us by the hand and lead us to His Glory.
The present is also ours if we are Christ's. What do you really need from this world? God has complete control over it all and therefore is ours. This is Gods "Will" that He wrote for us all that are His because we are His children. Just like the present is ours, the future is also ours. We can not fathom what the future holds.
The reason that all of these things are simply answered because we are Christ's and He is Gods.
John 10:28-29 sums it all up in a very simple verse.
