Fleshly Rejection
Romans 7:15-21 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
When the flesh can’t do anything it’s when the spirit takes over. The spirit is always wanting to do good but the flesh will not allow it. The sin of the flesh holds back the spirit from working. Throughout the Bible we find many of times where people wanted to do good however, their flesh was always holding them back. Jesus was the only one that was to reject His flesh. He went thru the same fleshly battles as we do and have gone thru. He was tempted just as us but was able to reject the devil each time. Don’t let the flesh rule in you life. When you get up on a Sunday morning with the thought of attending church and allow the flesh to overcome and don’t attend, the spirit lost. The lost lives their life by the flesh. They do things thru works that are good however the spirit is not there to bare witness. These works have no bearing on getting to Heaven. Salvation thru Christ Jesus is the only thing that will open the doors unto Heaven. At the time of death, the flesh will turn to dust. It holds nothing just as the works of man hold no bearing on salvation. The spirit within, being saved, is the only thing that matters at the time of death. If the flesh is ruling in your life and there is no conviction, you’re lost.
Preached by Cameron Crisp on September 29, 2019 (Sunday Morning).
Burning In The Heart
(Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Having the Lord in your heart will cause you to be happy in the morning, happy in the evening, happy in the good times and happy in the bad times. How can people sit and listen about Jesus and yet put Him off that they don’t need Him? Jesus knows our hearts, our inward thoughts when no one else does. Does it burn in your heart that Jesus calls to you? Do you have that happiness? Do the things that you’ve done cause hurt in Jesus’ heart? Jesus loves you and will forgive you for whatever it is.
Preached by Cameron Crisp on June 2, 2019 (Sunday Evening).
Seeking A Sign
Matthew 12:38-42 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live in a time where people want a sign, they actively seek for it. In the time of Jesus people seen Him heal many and raise the dead unto life but people then still wanted a sign, proof. There's only one way into Heaven and that's thru Christ and nothing or no one else. After Christ's death no one was able to see the miracles that He performed. He did these things to prove that He was God incarnate. He proved it and therefore He is and was and is to come. What sign will it take for you to believe in Christ? He's done all He can to prove Himself to you.
Preached by Cameron Crisp on January 6, 2019 (Sunday Evening).
There's Always A Need For Jesus
Job 16:1-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Job prayed for help during his troubling times. He prayed for an intercessor. At that time Jesus wasn't born yet. He wouldn't come for another 1500 years. Isa 53:8, Heb 7:25, Rom 8:28 The blood of the bulls and goats couldn't satisfy the needs of sin therefore an ultimate sacrifice was needed. Jesus came, walked and lived perfectly and was sacrificed for everyone's sins.
Preached by Cameron Crisp on December 5, 2018 (Wednesday).
Separation From God
Psalm 139:1-8 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is nothing that you can do that will separate yourself from Gods love. When things are going great it's usually because God is right there because you've allowed Him to be with you.
Preached by Cameron Crisp on October 14, 2018 (Sunday Evening).
