Bloom Where You're Planted
2 Kings 5:1-14 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
A lot of times people live in disappointment because they live a life of unbiblical nature. How many are truly faithful to God in the really tough times? Everything around you will change but God never changes. There is no reason to why we should be depressed all of the time, it's unbiblical. How many times to we put on the bullseye and just ask for the bad stuff to just hit us? We should choose to believe God no matter the circumstances. We should rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS. If you're walking around and state that you're suffering for Christ, then you're living a lie. We as a Christian have a responsibility to bring hope to the lost. The maid was a slave that was taken away from her family but she decided to bloom where she was planted. She had no control over her circumstances. You must decide if you're gonna be a victim or a victor. Greater is He that is in me than that who is in the world. You know you can't uncrack an egg or put the water back under the bridge. Did you know that NOT believing God is a sin? You realize that when one makes a statement of belief that, that in itself will cause one to welcome conflict. Do you pick and choose where you make your belief known? Folks are desperate for hope in this day in time. At what point in your life did attending church become hard?
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 9, 2018 (Sunday Morning).
Faith of a Child
2 Kings 5:1-15 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
People often limit themselves because they feel as if they are unworthy.

We are all the same as we are all sinners. The difference is that if you've been born again then your a sinner saved by grace yet, still a sinner.

God is the same God that He was yesterday for He still hasn't changed. Once you've been born again there should be a burden to tell everyone what God has done for you. The work and sharing of God can sometimes be physical or by words it can also be by living it day in and out. We should all want to be changed and want to receive a double portion of His love everyday.

Don't we want something for our people? The devil is doing his very best to destroy them all. We all need a double portion, a filling up of Gods love and power to do His will. In most cases children tend to simply believe things that are told to them. Adults grow to harden their hearts and doubt what they hear and see. This makes it more and more difficult to believe a simple message and truth of Jesus to be born again.

The power of God is not in us but in God that dwells in us that are saved. The power of God comes out by obedience. Our faith in God can make a difference because He is limitless. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

Preached by Tommy Boring on January 28, 2018 (Sunday Evening).
Don't Under Estimate What God Can Do
2 Kings 19:1-7 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it's death and destruction. When you get to a brick wall in your life where you feel like you can't go any further, go to the house of God. There is never a time where God doesn't know what you need and when you need it. It doesn't matter what the devil tells you, he always wants to make you afraid so that you'll lay your life down. He wants you to doubt God. All that satan can throw is simply just words. The one thing that the devil can't understand is that God is always in control. How bold are you? Everything that the devil try's to do to a saved person MUST FIRST go through God before it reaches them. Taking your problems to the church house is a good thing because there are others there that can help bear them with you. All God wants you to do is to just ask Him. Who can stand against God? The question is not, do you have a problem because we all have them. The real question is, do you have the real God.
Preached by Tommy Boring on May 17, 2015 (Sunday Evening).
Desiring a Double Portion
2 Kings 2:5-15 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
A lot of times we look to things to accomplish and if we don't do them then we feel as if we failed. Are we not to help people in need? We look at our small works and think how small but God uses it in a large way. We must be obedient to God. We do not know what is in store for the future when it comes to our works. We need people in the ministry that are not afraid of how large or how small they think their works are. Be impactful and love those that are not loved.once you realize that you can't do anything without God, then that is when you can start to do things with God. You need to ask yourself, what do you desire from God? Stop living up to someone else and start living up to Gods standard. How can you double impact someone's life? Use the gifts that God has given you and use them for what God intended them to be used for.
Preached by Jeff Patton on March 19, 2014 (Wednesday).
Are You Ready To Go?
2 Kings 20:1-5 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live like we know as if tomorrow will be there. No one knows when death will come. We all will die and not live. If their is something in your life that needs to be fixed, do it now. Do you have anything in your life that holds you back? Do you expect to die or be incapacitated tomorrow? No one really wants to die, but if its your time to go, you're gone. We all get caught up in our small little selves. When was the last time you wept before God?
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 2, 2012 (Sunday Morning).
