Scripture: Luke 12:16-20

God always takes care of everything we need but a lot of times we think we don’t have enough. Do you realize that the things you have down here will not go with you when you leave this life? When you’re lost you will search out everything to stick into the void, the emptiness of God. The world will offer and promise you everything. It’ll tell you that you need the fanciest car, nicest house, best relationships, alcohol, drugs, sex, etc. Those things are nothing and will lead you to death into an eternity in Hell. If you’re in a relationship with Satan you will not need a program to stop the drugs or things that keep you numb.

The flesh doesn’t want God. It despises God and tries its best to stay away from Him. Satan will tell you pretty much anything and everything to keep you with him. Conviction of being lost. There is nothing that will mask it no matter what you try to do to cover it. When God calls your name, and invites you to be saved, you better heed His call, right then, right now.

When you’re saved God will never leave you. He is always there. He’s there at 3am in the middle of the night when no one else is around. When no one else wants to talk to you, He’s there to listen. With your children, you love them therefore you chastise them when they do wrong. Why do you do this? Because you love them and want them to do right and not be spoiled. God does the same to us when we disobey. He loves us more than our parents and He will chastise us when we disobey Him.

There is a deadline for the invitation. When God calls, you must answer. He calls and you have one choice, no decision is a choice and it’s the answer for Hell. You will know when He will no longer invite you to salvation.

When Jesus steps out on the clouds and you’re still here, it’ll be too late for you. You will not only cry out for the rocks to hide you, but you will live forever in the pits of Hell. You will forever burn and be tortured every second of your life for eternity.

When you’re saved you will struggle just like the next person. God never promised you a perfect life once you’re saved. However, what He did promise, He would never leave you. So when your struggles come Jesus is there to help you through the struggle to make things right. If you’re lost, you have nothing to help you, nothing to carry you through the pains and struggles.

If you’ve not been saved then you will enter into Hell as an intruder. He was not created you for. it was created for Satan and his angels, demons. God will not have pity on you just because you tithed, had your name on the church roll, was a deacon, song leader, or even a preacher. God will only accept His son Jesus’ blood as a payment for your sins. Without the blood being applied to your soul, salvation, you will enter straight into Hell.
