Scripture: Romans 5:1-2

Being justified by faith is not by works but, by believing in Christ that He paid your sin debt for you to be saved. God has given us several gifts through His justification, salvation.

Peace With God
To make one with God again. Currently, people look to all kinds of medicines to keep them at peace with either themselves or others. They numb themselves against the conflicts of their surroundings. The world is searching for peace. John 14:27. If you live in the world then your search is always for some type of peace. When one lives lost the search goes out to worldly peace like drugs, sex, money, alcohol, and many more things. They are all short-lived and lead to destruction.

Access To God
One can’t get peace without Grace. God welcomes all into His Holy place. There was a time when we all looked from the outside in. We tried reading the bible, talking to the preacher, talking to others who are saved, going through the motions, and yet we still lack salvation. Once God invites one in and one accepts His invitation then full access is given. In our world, we have restricted access to places. These places will only allow certain people into their places. Businesses often give access to their employees to their buildings. Without the key-cards to the businesses, one can’t enter. A saved person has been given access to the very throne room to God. There is only one way to get to God and that is through His son, Jesus Christ.

Hope In Christ
If our hope in Christ was only in this world then we would be miserable. Sometimes we take our eyes off of God and then we have moments without peace and thus feel as if we’ve lost access to God. One of the grandest things that was given was peace and hope at the time of Christ’s birth. If you don’t have Christ, born again, then you don’t have hope. If you put your faith in church, church attendance, reading a bible, working for a church, going to seminary school, etc then you’ll end up in Hell at the time of your death.

Trouble is all around us and we experience it all the time. However, we should be of good cheer because God has overcome the world.
