Scripture: Revelation 3:19-22

One might be able to help someone but are they willing? How many times in your life when you didn’t know which way was up?

Willing to Heal
Prayer doesn’t mean a lot if we didn’t believe that we would not get help. When we pray we should be praying that His will be done. In Matthew 8:2-3; we read of a leper that wanted to be healed and Jesus was willing. Jesus still heals the sick to this day. Jesus is not only able but He’s willing.

Willing to Help
The physical is not the only healing that we go through. Inside our bodies, we have a soul and before we were saved we were lost. Jesus diagnosed the sin sickness and only Him is able to heal that sickness. Did you know that a doctor can’t heal you from everything? A doctor can only do so much but in the end, Jesus is the only healer that can truly heal beyond what a doctor is able to do. If you die lost you will not blame anyone but yourself for your eternity in Hell. The biggest lie the devil ever told anyone is that Jesus will not help you. Jesus went to the cross willingly for your sins just so you could be saved. If you die lost you will say amen to your own condemnation.

Willing to Save
One must first be lost in order to be saved. When Jesus comes to you and shows you that you’re lost then you’ve reached the age of accountability. It is at that point you have a choice to make. Romans 10:13, anyone that calls upon the Lord shall be saved.

Death is coming. The day that you were born, death was hot on your trail. For those who are saved, death just means you will awake in God’s presence. For the lost person it will go the opposite way and when their eyes are opened they will be in Hell. Hell was not created for us but for the devil and his demons. However, if you are not saved then you are not one of God’s children. You will be in Hell with the devil and his angels.
