Scripture: Acts 27:20-25

When you get to the end of the road did you ever think where it would take you? Have you ever been to the end of your rope? If you’re saved then you have someone that’s waiting at the end of your road or rope. There isn’t a single person who’s never been at the end of their road in great despair. God will be there. God has said He would never leave you or forsake you. Often times He’s carried us to the end and we didn’t even realize it. In every circumstance of our lives, He will never leave us.

Often time it’s not because someone saved sinned that caused their trouble, it’s because they are alive. There isn’t a single person out there that doesn’t suffer. It’s the saved that doesn’t suffer alone.

For the saved, you won’t get to the end of the road and wonder where God is at. He will always be there waiting with His arms stretched out. Hang on till the end and let go into the arms of Jesus when you get to the end of your road. Daniel was at the end of his road when he was thrown into the lion’s den. God wasn’t surprised by this and had a plan before it ever took place. God was already in the den of lions. Paul was doing what God told him to do, so he set out in a boat when a horrible storm took place. Paul had done everything he could do to survive, at the end of his road, then God showed up. He was there all along. Lazarus was dead. His family was at the end of their roads. Jesus was there and was there right on time. They thought He was late but little did they know. They thought all hope was lost but Jesus, at the end of their road, raised Lazarus from the dead. God is never late.

Jeremiah 20:7; Jeremiah had got to such a point that he thought God had deceived him. Don’t say you would never do this because we are all human. The people were counting down to the time that Jeremiah would be done, ended. Jeremiah quit because he thought God wasn’t there for him. The devil wants this for everyone, he tries to destroy. But, what happened with Jeremiah was that when he came to the end of his road there was a fire in his bones that he could bear. He found that God was at the end of his road.

Elijah was told to go to a certain lady and she was going to help him. This lady had nothing and was living through a great drought. Thinking about her, she awoke one day and thought, this is it. She had no more food or water to feed her and her son. She knew this. She came to the end of her road and decided to die. All hope was lost so she thought. Elijah then came on the scene. She did as she was told by Elijah because she knew he was a man of God. She did what God said and gave him a little water and her last piece of bread. Only God was going to get the credit for this miracle because no one else could help this lady. Elijah told her to not be afraid and to go ahead and make some bread for him, herself, and her son. She minded him, did what God had said, and continued to eat and drink until the drought was over. God was there at the end of her road so He could get the credit.

A woman with an issue of blood who had spent everything she had and never got better but worse. She then heard about Jesus passing through her town. She was at the end of her road. She knew that if she could just touch his robe she would be healed. Jesus knew right away when his robe brushed this woman’s hand. She was instantly healed! God was there at the end of her road.
