What is the greatest commandment? Love the Lord with all your heart.

Strength, Mind, Soul, and Heart

Love the Lord with all of your strength. If you’re a Christian then you should be attending your church. How does a lost person know you’re a Christian, perfect example is simply attending church. Working, helping out, the physical strength. What about your financial strength? Many have a lot more money than what they give. One can’t out-give God. Colossians 3:23; God didn’t say to love Him with a lot of your strength. Revelation 3:8; Do you love God with all of your strength? Do you attend church regularly? Do you help when it’s needed?

Love God with all your mind. Are your thoughts pure? Do you think and meditate on scripture and God? How is your prayer life? What kind of music do you listen to? What does your mind feed on daily? How’s your internet activity? What do you talk about? Psalm 139:23-24;17

Love God with all your soul. Colossians 3:1-3; What are your motives? Some Christians feel uncomfortable at church but they feel comfortable at the race track or holding a beer while playing corn hole. Do you hang with the wrong crowd?

Love God with all your heart. How is your heart? The pastor has his opening scripture because he is trying to break through the hardness of our hearts. Do you love God with any portion of your heart?

Do you love the Lord? How do you know you love the Lord?
1 Cor 2:9; 8:3; 16:22; If you don’t love the Lord then you’re not saved. Do you love the Lord? If you don’t love the Lord then nothing matters. You’re serving, your thoughts are okay, and you’re not running with women or men but you don’t love God. If you don’t serve God, your mind isn’t there, your soul is out with other women or men but your heart is with God.
