Scripture: Ephesians 1:8-14

There are times when we need to be reminded that He is God. If you believe in Christ then you must believe in God. If you believe in God then you must have Christ. You can’t have one without the other.

The Spirit of God draws you to the Father
No one will go to Heaven until the Holy Spirit invites first. God is a spirit and in order to worship Him you must worship Him thru spirit. One can’t have God thru through their mind. One can memorize the Bible but they are no closer to God than a lost person. Just repeating a prayer will not save a person. The act of praying doesn’t save a person but the drawing and believing will. One can repeat and say a thousand prayers and still be lost. The Spirit of God must first invite, then a prayer can be say with faith and believing.

The Holy Spirit of promise
God seals your soul once saved which is a promise from God that nothing can touch His work. Something that’s sealed is preserved. Nothing can get in and nothing can get out. Once saved one can never be lost again. One is sealed and protected until the day of redemption. If God didn’t seal His promise then we would surely mess things up.

The Holy Spirit of assurance
Since God sealed our soul once saved He gave the assurance with His abode. Our bodies are the temple of God once saved. God dwells inside His children and one can’t remove Him once saved. To Noah, God pledged thru a promise by creating a rainbow in the sky that He would never flood the earth again in that way. Since that time God has kept His promise and we are shown that assurance in the sky still to this day. Each time you feel the Spirit of God it’s the assurance that you are His and He is yours and that He dwells within you. It’s an assurance that your inheritance is Heaven.

Ephesians 4:30
A warning to those that are saved. You didn’t get saved until God invited you. He then sealed you once you accepted His invitation. Not only did He invite and seal His work but He lives and dwells inside you and you can feel Him. We do not deserve this and therefore we should always do His work. We should never grieve the one that loved us when we were not lovable.
