Scripture: Romans 2:1-11

Each one of us within a church that work has a “stick to it” mindset. There is a need in this world today for patient continuance in well-doing.

Hebrews 1:11
Now if you do not have patience then you will miss out in this race of life. Jesus is worth servicing every day of the week. All the time He is worth serving. In order to make a difference in this world requires patience and continuance. Without patience, you will give up on continuing. Don’t give up. Don’t let up. Keep pushing forward with Jesus.

James 5:7
If you’ve got a seed sown you must baby it. Water it, make sure the birds don’t get it, and keep the weeds away. Have you ever been tired and the devil tell you that? That’s what it is, the devil. The Holy Spirit will give you the strength to keep going and He will also give you rest. Do you need a finish line? When you take your last breath in this life, that is your finish line. We are of the flesh and we battle with it daily.

Galatians 6:9
Do you believe this? Make up your mind to give all you’ve got for God. The weary part is the flesh yet there is strength in the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 3:13
Do you believe this? There is something very important in well-doing and not giving up. Don’t give in to the world.

1 Peter 2:15
Have you ever asked what God’s will is for you? It matters what you do. Keep your Christian light shining because others see it. When you give your best He takes it and turns it into something greater. We live in a day where there is some foolishness going on. The wicked ideologies of this world are getting worse and worse. How do we live amongst it? Continuing patiently with God. We can’t fix the world’s problems yet God moves us around to do His will but, what happens when you lay down on Him?

If all it takes to knock you off your horse then the devil will provide it. He is all about keeping you away from God. He takes pride in knocking the Christian down. Make up your mind that you’re going to work for God no matter what! Be encouraged!
If you’re looking around and missing some workers in the field, don’t be discouraged. Have you looked around and in hurt and disgust wonder why they left? Have you looked around and begun to pray for them for God to help them? We could all use their help in this battle. If you’re not careful you will write them off because you can’t trust them. It’s not biblical to write off someone that has fallen in the ditch. In fact, we are to get in the ditch with them and try to help them out.

Romans 2:6
You only know what you see. You don’t know their heart.

Romans 2:7
Those that are patiently continuing in well-doing are seeking glory. Have you ever been in the presence of the Holy Ghost where you didn’t know what you were supposed to do? Just a power beyond understanding. They are also seeking the honor of God. When you don’t know what else to do, stand. We also seek immortality, living forever. Ultimately it’s the reward of Heaven.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15
The judgment of the saved. It matters how you live if you’re saved. At the judgment, if it’s not of God the works you did while alive on earth, you will suffer loss. Don’t give up, don’t lie down, and keep working for God!
