Scripture: Mark 2:1-5

We’ve been praying for a revival for a while to come to us. We need to be doing God’s work and inviting people to come into the house of God. It doesn’t take a lot of people to work for God. These men heard the noise that Jesus was going to be there. They wanted to see Jesus and they knew Jesus could heal their friend. When they got to the house they saw that there was no way they could go into the house the normal way. That didn’t stop them. They climbed to the top of the house and tore the roof off to lower him down to Jesus. This wasn’t an easy task to create a hole in the roof. They also had to raise their friend up to the roof in order to lower him back down through the hole they made. Are we willing to do some work for Jesus?

We are getting close to the end of time.

In the fifth verse, we read that Jesus saw the faith of the man’s friends and by their faith, Jesus healed the man of his sins. It was his friend’s faith, not his that saved him. Are you willing to have enough faith for your fellow men and women? God didn’t save us for us to just sit on our sits and do nothing. He saved us to bring in others to be saved. Where do you stand? Where is your faith?

We do a lot for our community but we could be doing a whole lot more. We have no excuses to invite, or love someone. We live in a time that communication is the easiest it’s ever been. You can call, text, instant message, video message, the list just goes on and on. It wasn’t that long ago when these things were not everywhere. But, people knew the power of God and respected it. They heard God somehow, some way. We can’t save them but we can invite them.
