Scripture: Ezekiel 33:3-6

If you are a Christian and are not living your life as a Christian and a lost person that you know or run with dies, you will answer for that. A Christian shouldn’t live their life as a lost person through the week and act like a saved person around other Christians. A Christian should live like a Christian at all times. What you think and how you make things right in your eyes don’t matter. If you think a certain word is not a curse word and continue to use it knowing that God doesn’t like it, then it’s wrong and goes against God. It doesn’t matter what you think. The Christians in your life may not see you live as a sinner or a hellish life. You can’t fool them but you’ll never fool God. He knows your life regardless of what others know.

Just the same, if you’re lost and go around telling people that you’re saved, this is just as wrong. You give a false witness of a Christian and just as a Christian will answer for the things that did, the lost will too. The lost will answer for the other lost and even the Christians that they led astray.

Being a hypocrite regardless of whether you’re lost or saved is a sin. It leads others astray and causes them to stumble. Those that you cause to stumble will be held against you at the time of your death.

Acts 26:28
If you’re a Christian and live your life as a sinner; how many people have you almost persuaded to be saved and that sinful way broke the persuasion? Being backslid causes your testimony to be destroyed and causes your light to dim to others. Don’t live your life thinking you’re okay when you’re not.

Repentance is the key to forgiveness. Weekly, daily, hourly, and every second, we should be asking for forgiveness. We all sin every second by thinking or by our actions. We should never repent and run back to the sin. We should repent and turn away from the sin and strive to not return back to the sin.
