Are You Just Running or Running to Win? (Part 1)
2 Peter 1:1-3 (Part of the 2 Peter 1 series).
Your opinion doesn't matter when it comes to what God knows. When you learn the wrong thing, it will lead you down the wrong path. The world can not show or teach you peace. Being saved means that for all of us that are saved have a commonality. We've all came thru the same Jesus Christ and nothing else. Being good will not get you to Salvation. No ones salvation is better than the next. Preacher's salvation isn't any stronger than a lay member. How many excuses can you think of when God simply asks you to do something? What's your agenda for attending church or listening to this sermon? Why do we settle for "alright" salvation. We have zero excuses to sit down on God. Romans 10:13 plainly states that you should simply ask to be born again but Romans 10:14 says but how can they ask if they haven't heard of Jesus Christ. Those of us that are called, saved, have every second of our lives to share Jesus to the lost. Did you know that you can do ANYTHING that God wants? The problem is that we limit ourselves through excuses. Psalms 119:27 we shouldn't be afraid of what God wants us to do. Has He not already called you to do something great? Some of us are bound by our doubts. One of the greatest sins of the saved is omission. The omission of showing Jesus Christ to the lost around us and living like Jesus Christ lives within us. There are those that no matter what's going on around them, they are happy, always. Why is that, that one could be happy no matter what? They have Jesus that lives within them and holds all peace and happiness. Phil 3:8, 1 Tim 3:4 do you think God wants you to know what's in His book? God has called us to glory and virtue. One can't produce Spiritual fruit if you're not Spiritual or saved. But if you are saved you should always be bearing Spiritual fruit.

Ministry of Reconciliation
2 Corinthians 5:11-18 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The only way to be reconciled is Jesus to sacrifice Himself and for us to accept Him as our savior. Those that live outside of Christ are the enemies. We have the ability to look out amongst our neighbors and have compassion and to love those that are not of God. How can we not care or forgive if we ourselves have been cared for and forgiven? Many things divide us that shouldn't. The problem is not their addictions or sins, it's the fact that the devil has ahold of them thru his stronghold. Christ didn't die for some or a few, He died for ALL that would believe on Him. Living in the ministry of reconciliation means we live in repentance and the care of those that are lost. How many times do we not say anything to those that pass us that are lost? How many times do we allow the devil to control our sharing of Christ? God's love should compel you to put your life on the line to share with others about Christ. To those that hate you, say hurtful things about you, keep in mind that Christ loves them. God's given you the engine and the fuel. Get out of park or reverse and put it into drive and go.
Preached by Tommy Boring on November 1, 2015 (Sunday Evening).
Without a Vision
Nehemiah 1:1-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live in a time where their are multiple "gods" within our society. Therefore many sit at ease without any thought of anyone else because we have no real persecution for our beliefs. You are only upset and ready to fight when the devil attacks you or your family. Most have no concern for others and what the devil does to them. Where is your passion? Is it in your checkbook, your money? How about where you spend your time? If you can't love your neighbor as yourself then you can't love God. So who is your neighbor? As the bible says, one persons neighbor was their enemy. When was the last time you've asked them about their relationship between them and God? One of our problems is that we mind our own business when it comes to others salvation. Hoe do you know if you don't have a vision, you don't pray before God. Don't give up with praying. When God gives you the answer or the vision, you must do it.
Preached by Tommy Boring on September 13, 2015 (Sunday Morning).
Jesus can Not be hidden
Matthew 5:13-16 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
What makes your children yours? Is it the time that you spend with them that makes them yours? Is it the name, last name? Parents gave birth to them and you may not have all the time with them that you'd like. What makes you a child of God? Is it the amount of hours that you spend in His present? Was the thief on the cross next to Jesus with Him long? Why are you here? It's not the amount of praise that you give. It's not about the work that you do. We see and hear all kinds of people that say they love God but they can't even follow His commandments or don't even know them. So, it doesn't matter how loud you scream, I love Jesus. If you are truly a child of God, you can NOT hide it. You'll have opportunities to share Jesus to people that don't want their light turned on. A Christian should have an easier time standing up in front of other Christians. If you can't stand up for Jesus in front of other Christians, what makes you think it would be easier in front of the world. Why hide Jesus? Hosea 4:1-6 We are to teach others of Gods love.
Preached by Taylor Walker on April 26, 2015 (Sunday Evening).
Are You Nearsighted Or Farsighted?
Philippians 2:1-4 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We should love others more than ourselves. 1 Cor 13 We should be seeking after others to love. Just like our children and our spouse, we will sacrifice to get the things they want. If we are sharing the gospel with others, who is? Jesus' actions where nothing more than His love towards us. It's high time that we as children of God to change and love others more than ourselves. We take what Christ did for us for granted. Just as Jesus in the Garden of Gasemity, seeking and loving others is difficult at times. Do you like your church just the way it is? Do it all for love, no other motivation should be at the thought.
Preached by Bruce Whitehead on March 29, 2015 (Sunday Evening).
