Stopping The Voices
Psalm 40:1-4 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
David endured physical afflictions and he often prayed about them. Also, he prayed for his enemies. Just as he, discouragement affects us all and it all begins in our minds.

God can hear you as long as you have repented and hold no inequity in our hearts. If God granted every prayer we asked Him instantly then He would surely be our spare tire. But God makes us wait thru patience.

Our mind is liken to a horrible pit full of never ending noise. We can not stop it no matter what we do and try. Always thinking, always listening, always wondering and doubting. The miry clay being depression that our mind will usually begin to think about if we don't put our minds at ease thru Christ. People today are screaming to be rescued from their own minds.

The clearest your mind will ever be is when you allow God to work in your mind. Prayer can bring clarity and remove the doubt in our minds. Not only will God clear your mind and ease it but He will also place you on something solid that you DO know.

How many have things are rolling around in your mind that you can't get rid of? A grudge against someone? Worried about a sickness? Stressed about a lived one?

For a child of God we are not a victim but a victor! We choose everyday which one you want to be.

Deal With It!
Colossians 3:1-9 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The truth is the bible whether anyone wants to believe it or not. There are things that we all have problems lining up with. The things that separate us from Christ and the joys that behold Him are worldly and sinful. Col 3:5 We want to excuse ourselves of certain things just because we don't want to deal with those sins. The problem with a living sacrifice is that it keeps squirming and never sits still. We should stop fornicating. Fornication is sex at any measure outside of marriage. Uncleanness is lewd and unclean thoughts and should be repented of. Inordinate affections are vile desires, homosexuality. Evil concupiscence is evil lusts, murder. These four things are fleshly lusts. Covetousness is the lust of the eyes, love of the world. Theses things are often tied to the pride of life, anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, and filthy communication. Anger should always be taken care of and not dwelt on. Wrath is similar to anger and is a product of it. Wrath is somewhat you should have dealt with and usually requires forgiveness of the worldly enemy. Wraths revenge is malice. Blasphemy is speaking evil. The tongue is like the rudder of a large ship, it's small but turns the entire ship. Blasphemy and filthy communication is due to the anger, wrath and malice that comes out verbally. Our speech should be the one thing that when others hear it they know it's of Christ. God hates a lie because it's the opposite of truth. One might think, it's just a little white lie. One should be careful because if it doesn't line up with Gods Word, it's wrong whether you think it was little or not. One of the reasons why we should deal with the above sins, Col 3:6 those things are what a lost person does. If you're saved and do those things then you're living in sin and asking for Gods wrath because you're living a hypocrites life. The saved knows the difference between doing those sinful things and living in Gods love. If a person still wants the old stuff, then your lost. When you're saved you no longer desire the sinful nature because you're a new person in Christ.

God Is For You
Jeremiah 29:11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Are you aware that Jesus loves you? God isn't confused. There is nothing that will cause God to stop living you. God knows each and every thought and is not surprised when things happen. The thoughts that God has for us are all good. Romans 8:28 We hold ourselves back because we think negatively about ourselves. At times we are ready to fear that God is against us so that we fail. We think that we do not deserve God. We allow guilt and regret to stop us in fear that God doesn't love us. Romans 8:37-39 Nothing can tear us away from the love that God has for us. It's never about what you've done that you think that is bad, it's about what God did for you. If God is for you, what could be against you? Stop and allow God to love you. Some may think that if their family didn't love them then how could anyone and even God love them. There is NOTHING you can do to cause God NOT o love you. It's impossible to make the God of love to stop loving you. John 14:27 His thoughts are always good for us and He gives us all peace. Gods love is unconditional. God isn't trying to take your life down, He is for you not against. 1 John 4:4 The love of God lives inside of us and this is a promise. How do you expect it to end? What do you think will happen when you leave? Gods love doesn't end when our lives end. God loves the sinner.

Why Don't You Pray?
Luke 18:1-8 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Prayer is a simple concept but is rarely used. Prayer is talking to God. One purpose of prayer is to call on God. The second is the possibility of prayer. Hebrews 7:24-25 When you pray, you do not do it alone. Romans 8:26 We know that we have someone that knows what we can't describe and yet we do not talk to Him. Why won't we pray more? Because the flesh will not allow it. The persistence of prayer is important. Do you pray enough? Romans 12:12 We should be praying throughout the entire day. Ephesians 6:18 your physical posture has nothing to do with prayer, however, your humbleness of your heart does. Prayer should have a privacy. Matthew 6:6 Prayer should be between you and Him. Someone else's prayer is their prayer, not yours. The preacher can not say a prayer for you. Is their power in prayer? Mathew 7:7 Have you asked? Mathew 21:22 Not only should you ask, but believe.

Thirsty?
Matthew 5:6 (Part of the Revival 2013 series).
Heaven is involved in this. We have a promise that if we are hungry or thirsty enough we will be filled. To be blessed of God is a marvelous thing. We don't have to wonder if God will speak to us if we have been born again. Have you ever been really hungry? The Lord always takes care of us. Our faith should be in God and we He can do. He is able to break any stronghold! We should get hungry for righteousness. Aren't you glad he sticks close than a brother. Would you run to The Lord? You would if you were thirsty enough. Your thirst will never be quenched if you don't go to him. You know where the water is so run to it. You don't have to worry about cleaning yourself, The Lord will wash you. He will clean every sin. We have taken so many things for granted. If we can get back to where we need to be with The Lord we will be filled. God loves everyone equally. You don't have nothing if you don't have Jesus. If you won't do it right now you don't know if he will be drawing later. You may be thinking you are hiding something from the Almighty but you can't hide anything from God. He knows what's in your heart and he's come to offer you salvation. If you are sorry you'll come. But, if you aren't sorry enough you won't come. If everything was ok you wouldn't worry. You need God on your side. All that will be saved, will be. He promises not to turn you away. If you repent he will always forgive. If you are ashamed of him he'll be ashamed of you. Bless him in the good days. We are living in the days where everything is fast paced. But, The Lord is simple. You have to realize you need the water. You don't have to keep trying to look right or do right, you can just come as you are. Do everything as unto The Lord. The Lord taught that the least would be the greatest. If you accept it, it will be the greatest gift. If you'll humble yourself in the sight of The Lord you can be saved. You've got to be born of God. Offer yourself before him and God will accept it if it comes from the heart. This living water never leaves! God keeps a record and you are held accountable for every one you've heard. The Holy Spirit draws you through the Son. Simple salvation. When the Holy Spirit comes he will reveal all things. He puts things deep down inside you. If you hide his word in your heart you will not sin. The word becomes so viable you can't live without it. Don't offer sacrifices that are lame. Paul fought a good fight and kept the faith. We need to grab the plow and hold on. You have to get thirsty for the word of God. The word of God won't return void. Pride will be your downfall if you won't turn to God. God looks on the heart. We must decrease and he must increase. You must recognize who he is. He took all our guilty thoughts and sins and died so that we could be healed. For what the law could not do Jesus did. If you are athirst take of this water freely. When God sees the saved he doesn't see filth he sees his son. We are justified- just if I'd never sinned. You need the blood applied and be set free. Pray Holy Spirit search me. Without faith it is impossible to please God. He is that still small voice.
