Just Give It To Him
(Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Got a problem? Stop holding on to it, let God have it. Give it all to Him and don't pick it back up. Trust that He WILL take care of it.
Preached by Tommy Boring on November 29, 2015 (Sunday Evening).
A Bright Future
Revelation 19:1-9 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
It seems that with every turn of the world today that Christians are persecuted worse and worse. If we are saved we shall open our eyes after death and be in a place that will have no sadness, grief, tears, pain or death. We sometimes get stuck in today's sorrow and depression but hold tight till the end. Our bodies are currently sinful and we struggle with it on a daily basis here on earth. In heaven our bodies are made holy and then are worthy to enter into His throne room. Rev 22:1-21 God sent His angel to tell us what to expect in Heaven. Make sure that you're saved because there will be no second chances after Jesus comes back to get saved, it will be too late. Don't let the worlds sins get you down. Just keep your eyes on Jesus and what is in store for us that's saved. Stop worrying about what the world is doing, just do what God has told you to do. Serve the one that has control over life and death. Being a Christian should be a happy life. God gives us blessings that we don't even deserve. Be happy for those blessings.
Preached by Matthew Adams on November 5, 2014 (Wednesday).
Investing In Our Tears
Psalm 126:1-6 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Their are people all around us that are held captive by sin. When people look at your life can they see that God has done great things? Even when we are on top of the spiritual mountain there is still something to pray for. Even in rejoicing there is still trouble all around. We will never have ultimate joy until we the saved get to heaven. It's truly a miracle that God saves a lost, but joy is short lived due to the thought of repentance shortly to come. Continue to pray for those that are struggling, sowing in weeping. In the end, there will be joy for the sowing of love.
Preached by Tommy Boring on May 25, 2014 (Sunday Evening).
Made In The Shade
Psalm 121:5-8 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God is good regardless. 2 Timothy 1:12; Jude 1:24; 1 Peter 4:19; Philippians 4:7 Do you believe that you can keep yourself? God keeps you in His hand and protects you. Everything that you have committed unto God it is His forever. Shade comes from covering, shade is comfort. As God is our shade He is our protection. Have you ever thought about what God has done for you? Have you ever thought about what evil doesn't touch you because of His protection? Romans 8:35-39 There has never been a time when God left us alone.
Preached by Tommy Boring on January 19, 2014 (Sunday Evening).
Are You Ready To Go?
2 Kings 20:1-5 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live like we know as if tomorrow will be there. No one knows when death will come. We all will die and not live. If their is something in your life that needs to be fixed, do it now. Do you have anything in your life that holds you back? Do you expect to die or be incapacitated tomorrow? No one really wants to die, but if its your time to go, you're gone. We all get caught up in our small little selves. When was the last time you wept before God?
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 2, 2012 (Sunday Morning).
