I Am The Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:19-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
A lot of people take into consideration things that simply don't matter. The evening news or anyone else for that matter knows NOT when Jesus will come again.

When one think about miracles then the number one miracle would be one that was raised from the dead. At some point in our lives you're going to hear that someone is dead. We think that death is the final end to life. Jesus has power to raise from the dead. The obstacle that Jesus didn't have was raising from the dead, it was the death itself. Jesus' power brought back at least three people from the dead. If your lost then your dead and stink with sin. When God calls your name, come be saved. 3 common points to the three dead, they were all dead, He called them by name and Jesus had the power to speak to them.

In Jesus' death He told them that He would raise in three days. No one believed Him even the guards. The guards thought that someone Jesus knew would steal His body and flame He lived again. So if Jesus knew He was going to die, why didn't He prepare for His death by getting a tomb? He didn't need it because He wasn't going to stay in it. So did the angel that rolled the stone away let Jesus out? No, the Angel was there to show that He wasn't in the tomb. Even then a few of the disciples still couldn't believe that He had truly risen.

If you're looking for Jesus, He is as close as your belief. You need to run to Jesu as fast as you can. Some of you can hear Him calling your name from the tomb you are in.

1 Thes 4:13-17 The physical body is in the ground at death and will remain there. The soul goes to be with Jesus or In Hell. At the second coming of Christ the physical will be joined with the soul with the saved being joined together first.

Preached by Tommy Boring on April 1, 2018 (Sunday Morning).
Would He Die?
John 19:28-37 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There was never a question that Jesus would live, but if He would die. Jesus Himself had a hard time with His own death because He prayed to His father for an alternate method. Jesus told us that they would kill Him but He would raise again on the third day. Jesus wasn't sent to live, He was sent to die. When Jesus turned lose of life, He made it so that we also could live forever. Jesus did whatever He wanted to do during His death. In order for those that had died before Him to have a chance to believe in Him, He had to die as well to get them. The devil tried at ever chance he had to stop Jesus, from His birth all the way to the cross.
Preached by Tommy Boring on April 9, 2017 (Sunday Evening).
Privileged Beyond... (Part 1)
Hebrews 10:19-21 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
One of the greatest privileges of being a Christian is that we can come before Him. Many others have idols they bow down to but they are only idols and nothing more. Prior to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, animals were given as a blood sacrifice and only the priest could go before God in the temple. After Christ gave His life for our sins as the ultimate sacrifice then we can now go before God boldly. When the veil was opened not only did it allow anyone to look in and walk around, it opened the door for God to be let for the rest of the world, everyone. God was preparing a new way for sinners to be saved and when Jesus was crucified the new way was complete. It's difficult to explain how God presence can engulf a believer in any place at any time. It's hard to comprehend that God is always around and is always in our presence. Our first privilege is that God would allows us to be in His presence. God sent Himself as a man to earth to live as a man, feel pain as a man, die as a man and to take upon Himself every sin that would ever be committed. The difference between God and all of those other gods is that God is alive. Our other privilege as a Christian is that we have a mediator that is always there and does not require a blood sacrifice each time we go to the God.

Magnificent Truths and Wisdom of God
1 Corinthians 2:6-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Wisdom is mentioned in the bible seven different times. World still can not hear the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God can't be heard by those that are lost. Many have died for the wisdom of God. Only those that are born again know the wisdom of God is truth. Jesus Christ loves the sinner. How does one think that a sinner can be born again? To the lost a Christian is foolish. When the light comes on what is there that you can not see? The Jews are still confused and shrouded by Gods wisdom. One can't have a new without having an old. Within the Old Testament Jesus taught and prepared the people for His resurrection and the removal of the old law. In the New Testament Jesus gave Himself as a sacrifice for all sins creating the new law. The spirit can not be understood by the lost only by the spirit itself. God forgives of sin forever more and one can never be unsaved. Do you want wisdom? Ask for it!
Preached by Tommy Boring on August 21, 2016 (Sunday Evening).
Believing Through Faith
(Part of the Miscellaneous series).
You'll never find your help in the world. You'll spend all you've got, money, time, work, love, health etc trying to fix your problems when all you need to do is go to the One that can. God is the only one that can fix your problems. Jesus has already lived your life of sorrow. He sees the shape that you're in and knows how to fix what ails you. You have to hear Jesus calling your name in order to experience His love. Once you have Jesus you'll want nothing else in this world. Have you heard about Jesus? Do you know the reason why Jesus came to earth and died a horrible death and rose again? Where it all begins is when you believe through faith.
Preached by James Willis on July 3, 2016 (Sunday Morning).
Are You Really a Child of God? (Part 2)
Galatians 4:7 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There's a big difference between thinking and knowing. When you don't know for sure, there is a constant doubt and fear. If you are a child of God, you are no longer a servant but a son. A servant doesn't have an inheritance. We are the children of God and we will receive an inheritance. There are a lot of folks that will say and work all the time that they are saved. There is only one way to be born again and that's through Jesus Christ. Those in Christ have been promised a joy that no one can imagine. We did not deserve it. There are many that do not want the title, child of the King. Some want it but do not want to walk it. Roman 8:16 The Spirit will bear witness with yours if you have been saved. If you've been saved, live like it with your head held high knowing the promises that God has given to us. Does the Spirit bear witness with yours? Those that think they are saved and those that are impostors will not get Gods inheritance. If your saved then you are an heir to God but not only that but, a joint heir to Jesus Christ. So what do we that are saved get as an inheritance? 1 Peter 1:3-5 A lively hope. Since Jesus came, died, and was resurrected, that makes our hope alive and not dead. The inheritance can not be corrupted and it can't be defiled. It will never fade away, it will last forever. It is reserved, just for you, waiting on you in heaven. Ephesians 1:14, we are just waiting, sealed for God until the day of redemption. Rev 21:4 What we find important here on earth is what we will walk on in heaven. Fine jewels and pearls are used to build things that we destroy with no thought on earth daily. So are you really an heir?
Preached by Tommy Boring on August 26, 2015 (Wednesday).
Bound by Sin
John 11:41-44 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Disobedience to the Word of God is the number one sin in the world today. When Jesus called for Lazarus to come forth, he was still wrapped and wasn't clean. Just as we need to remove the sin, unwrap the sin. It doesn't matter how wrapped up with sin, when Jesus calls, He cleans. How many times have you argued with God about something He's told you to do? Moses argued with God, so did Jonah. How did they turn out? We were all dead in our sins, when Jesus spoke your name, you came out of your grave clothes and were born again. Unless Jesus calls your name, you can't be saved. Do you know what to do when God tells you to do something?
Preached by Steve Whitehead on April 15, 2015 (Wednesday).
Reconciliation
Ephesians 2:13-19 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Of all the things that we can think of what God has done for us, reconciliation is the last thing we normally think of. Our job is not to judge another but to simply lift up His word to all. God has removed the wall of separation between Him and us, Jews and Gentiles, men and women, etc. There is no big or little persons within the world because it's level at the foot of the cross. Clicks and crowds do not matter to God. There should never be a "spiritual racism" in regards to the name over the door of the church. Jesus didn't come for the Jews only or to the Gentiles only. Jesus came for all! As long as there is a division there can never be a unity of one. What separates each and everyone person from God? Sin. There is no big or little sin, they are all simply a sin. We are all sinners, even the saved are sinners but they are saved by grace. The only way to deal with sin is to accept Jesus Christ as your savior. There is no doubt, no question about whether God could save someone. If it wasn't for reconciliation we would still be separated from God by sin. The ONLY hope that we have is in Jesus Christ, so follow Him and give Him everything.
Preached by Tommy Boring on March 18, 2015 (Wednesday).
A Bright Future
Revelation 19:1-9 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
It seems that with every turn of the world today that Christians are persecuted worse and worse. If we are saved we shall open our eyes after death and be in a place that will have no sadness, grief, tears, pain or death. We sometimes get stuck in today's sorrow and depression but hold tight till the end. Our bodies are currently sinful and we struggle with it on a daily basis here on earth. In heaven our bodies are made holy and then are worthy to enter into His throne room. Rev 22:1-21 God sent His angel to tell us what to expect in Heaven. Make sure that you're saved because there will be no second chances after Jesus comes back to get saved, it will be too late. Don't let the worlds sins get you down. Just keep your eyes on Jesus and what is in store for us that's saved. Stop worrying about what the world is doing, just do what God has told you to do. Serve the one that has control over life and death. Being a Christian should be a happy life. God gives us blessings that we don't even deserve. Be happy for those blessings.
Preached by Matthew Adams on November 5, 2014 (Wednesday).
What's in a Name?
Exodus 3:13-14 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
I Am is not I was. His name can bring a nation to its knees. Jehovah, the name is holy. YHWH, the name is holy. People look for meanings in their names. It is impossible to describe the meaning of Gods name. When Jesus was to be born His name was to be called Emanuel, God with us, I Am with us. John 4 Jesus declared He is the Messiah, God the Father, The Son and Holy Spirit. The great I Am is the bread of life. John 5:9 God is the light of the world. Darkness has over shadowed this world ever since sin came into it as a serpent. John 10:7 God is the only door to which you can be saved. John 10:11 He is the good shepherd. He will protect you, lead you and never leave you. John 10:36 He is the son of God. John 11:25 He is the resurrection and the life. John 13:13 He is our Lord and master, our boss. John 14:6 He is the way. At times I our lives we get lost and don't know what to do or which way to go. Look to God. He is also the truth. The main question is not if you know Him or not, it's does He know you?
Preached by Tommy Boring on March 23, 2014 (Sunday Morning).
Too Hard For God
Jeremiah 32:26-27 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Is God capable of doing anything? Do you think God can help you with your trials and tribulations? We struggle with having the faith as small as a mustard seed. Do you think God knows what you're going through. When you get to your lowest, God is about to lift you up. Everything that we do is of God, a reflection. Isaiah 51:1-2 Why are our churches not growing? It's because of us. Mark 6:4-6 Our lack of faith and unbelief is what quenches the Spirit of God.
Preached by Jeff Patton on March 9, 2014 (Sunday Evening).
Supposing He Is With Us
Luke 2:40-45 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Sin has a price. For a moment sin seems good but in the end, the price is death. Disobedience to the Word of God not only hurts ourselves but it hurts our loved ones. Never give the devil a place to start in your life. Remove pride from yourselves and humble yourselves. We are to love God above anything else and to keep His commandments. If you're saved and you're out in the world, sin will accumulate in your heart. We are to ask God to cleans us each day. As long as we obey Him, He is with us. We are to share Jesus.
Preached by Rick Rutherford on January 15, 2014 (Wednesday).
Caught Unprepared
Acts 1:6-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Jesus is coming back. Nothing will hinder Him from returning. 2 Peter 3:3-4 Some will make fun of and say He isn't coming. According to the bible, everything has been fulfilled and at any moment He could return. God will not destroy earth with water, He will destroy it with fire. God has promised that He will return. Just because one doesn't believe that God is real or coming back doesn't make it untrue. 2 Peter 3:8-10 We as humans have set time, God doesn't have a timeline. Time doesn't mean anything to God, He is the alpha and omega the beginning and the end. God hasn't come back because He is long suffering to us. When God takes His children home, it's not the end. There will be seven years of evil hell on earth. If you think that you'll wait till after God comes back you may die before then. With you hearing this or reading it, you are refusing Gods drawing and rebelling Gods calling right now. Right now, we live in a time of Grace that is for every single person. If you don't believe in God now you will believe when He comes back but it will be too late because His grace will be pulled away. God will come when you are least expecting it. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 This time that we live in now is wicked but God is in full control. When God comes back today you will be frozen in your salvation. Either He will find you saved or He will find you lost. If you are alive and lost when God comes back, you will witness the greatest phenomenon that has ever been seen. In a flash you will see all of those that are saved be changed and leave this world. There will be a day that EVERY knee will bow and EVERY tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The question is, are you ready to go? Revelation 22:12-13
Preached by Tommy Boring on January 12, 2014 (Sunday Morning).
Almost is Completely Lost
Acts 26:24-32 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
One has to be lost before you'll understand what hell is all about. Gods light still shines no matter if the world wants it to. There are people in hell today that "almost" got saved. Almost can't get you saved. Being saved is a very simple process.
Preached by James Willis on December 4, 2013 (Wednesday).
Do You Believe Or Know?
1 Corinthians 15:19 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The greatest sign that God gave for all the world is that He will rise again in three days. If you say you need proof that God existed, just look in the Bible and the proof is all there, it's all around you. Many people have the knowledge that Christ is real but they do not believe or have the faith. If Christ is not risen, then your life is in vain. Just because you know something doesn't mean that you are a part of it.
Preached by Tommy Boring on March 31, 2013 (Sunday Morning).
