Through The Eyes Of A Blind Man
John 9:1-41 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There are many that find that the only way to Heaven is Jesus. Many of cults and religions find it offensive that there is but only one way. Now the story of the blind man has several points but we will focus on just two. The church didn't know this blind man that lived in their own community. The first thing they did was to challenge who Jesus was saying the He wasn't of God. Jesus Christ was God incarnate. There are religions out there today that claim that Jesus was just a man as you and I. The second statement was that Jesus Christ was a sinner because He did this act on a sabbath day. The blind man could see who Jesus Christ is but the church could not. The blind man asked the church to prove themselves in Moses' law where a person received their sight. There was only one person that could heal a person that was born blind and that was Jesus Christ, God. There is only one prayer that God will hear from a sinner and is the prayer of forgiveness of their sins to be saved. A lot of sinners pray but they waste their time and breath because God will not hear them because they are not His. Christ was sinless and on the cross He took upon all the sins of the world become a sacrifice for us all that would be live in on Him.

Joy In Salvation
Psalm 51:5-12 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The devil hates you and he has absolutely has not power over you other than the power that you give or allow him to have. We've all made poor choices and we will get the consequences from those choices. Gods love towards us is NOT based upon what we have done or have. If you die and have NO salvation, you'll open your eyes in an eternal fire of Hell. It will not be because God didn't love you. People today are caught up in the things of this world. You can raise your hands, go thru all the motions, do all the things a Christian does but in the end those things don't amount to anything. If God does not live inside of you thru salvation then Hell will be your eternal home. Repentance is something no one wants to hear or do anymore. If you're saved then you live in the closest form of Hell while on this earth. The world needs to see joy from the Christian because that's what they are hunting for. The lost are searching and trying just about everything to bring joy to their lives. If the Christian would live like a Christian and allow God to live and work in our lives then the joy would just pour from them.

Proverbs 22:1 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
By no other name but by the name of Jesus can one be saved. The pastor didn't save you, he can't.
E Mat 1:21-23 Mothers are good and usually great but your momma can't save you. Jesus' own mother, Mary can't save you. Emmanuel, “God with us”. God was always with us up until Adam & Eve sinned in the garden.
S Jesus is our savior just as the sweet smell of the altar of incense. Jesus took His blood as a sacrifice to His father for our sins.
U John 3:16 He is for Us.
S Romans 8:1-11 By the Spirit and Truth can one be saved. We were a born sinner due to the law that was placed upon us when Adam and Eve sinned. The devil has to have a saddle to ride you. That saddle is a stronghold, sin that controls you. Happiness and peace are two different things. Someone could gift you a nice vehicle which would make you happy but peace will not be there. You might have a peace of knowing that vehicle will work but at some point that vehicle will become worrisome.

Having Time for a Compassionate Heart
Luke 10:30-35 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
As we look around we see troubles and trials and our country going down a sinful path. We live in a cruel world that has no compassion or love of God in them. The world is too busy doing the Devils busywork. We need to slow down and take time out to pray. Most will say about another that when something bad happens to another, "they got what they deserved". Religion is a dangerous thing. One could join every church they find, they could be baptized in every form of water around but still be lost. We as the saved need to simply respond and work for God. How many people come to church with a void and leave empty handed? You'll never understand the spiritual things until your born again. This world is all after someone to guide them, they are searching for a leader.

There is Despair When There is No Success
1 Kings 19:1-18 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Elijah prayed for rain and within hours it was raining but shortly after during his miracle the enemy came to him. The goal was not about rain, it was about men changing their hearts towards God. When the enemy came to Elijah he ran off away from the enemy. If a man like Elijah could be caught in a snare all the while in Gods miracles, how could we do it? Have you ever been there in great despair? Have you ever prayed, studied, worked and fasted but nothing happened? We can't make someone get saved, change them or make certain things happen by our doings. During Elijah's despair there was no body around to help him in his time of need. No one was their to help him see that God was still there when the enemy was punching him in the gut. In your work place, if you don't perform your job then there is no paycheck. But in God work, He already knows your work and your payout isn't truly based on your work. Think about when the preachers preach and the response is great from the congregation. But thinking about the same thing and on Sunday nights folks nap during the service. Have you as a church member ever thought about cancelling a church service because no one is there in attendance? Nothing gets done when we wallow in our disappointments. Have you ever known God not to be with you? Gods people will end up in despair at some point in their Christian walk but they always end up at Gods feet. God will pick them up and put them back on their journey each and every time. So when you get disappointed, you'll sit down, backslide.
