Who Is God In Your Life?
Isaiah 45:5-7 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
You need to ask yourself why you attend church. Some will say it's because you want to worship God. Do you realize who God really is though? Isa 45:7, we fail a lot of times of knowing just who God is. Who is He in your life? There is a false doctrine that's commonly called the "little god doctrine" which puts God on the same level as us as humans. They believe they can live an upright sinless life and as long as they live that way they can do anything God can do. The bible teaches us that there is no one that's sinless but Jesus Christ Himself. We ALL fall short of the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ was NOT just a man, He was God incarnate. This means that Jesus was sinless and there is none that will ever be like Him. God is all knowing, nothing takes God by surprise. God does not operate on a knee jerk reaction. God knows if you're going to fall away from Him before it ever happens. If you'll stop and think about who God really is then your worship would change. You're view would change from the troubles in your life to the one who truly controls everything in your life. God is not your crutch, He is not your copilot.

The Way That Jesus Speaks
Acts 9:1-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
No one can speak like Jesus speaks. There are some so-called Christians that are bewildered to hear how Christ speaks. It's because they've never heard Christ speak to them. Christ is the only one that can judge therefore the only one that can convict of sins. We as Christians are the only religion that has a god that speaks back. All of the other gods are dead and gone and have never spoke back once they died. Friends and family can love and comfort but at some point it's not enough, but God can give a peace that never goes away and comforts beyond the physical. Why does He speak to us? When we hate Him so much at times, He still speaks to us. Why? Because He loves us in spite of ourselves. His love surpasses all understanding.

Which Way Are You Going To Go?
Matthew 7:13-15 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live in a world where we call evil good and how good is now evil. Many people take the easy way out which is usually sinful. We live in a world were most live how they want to with no consequences. Just because the world says it's ok doesn't mean that it's accepted by God. We as Christians have an obligation and have been called out of the world. The world no longer wants to accept the bible as the truth. We live in a time where there are any religion that suits your needs on every corner. But there is only one way, one God, one Jesus to where one can be saved. At some point in life the Christian stopped declaring the Word of God. It's time to stand and make up your mind on which side of the fence you're going to be on. World you rather watch you friends and family go into hell or would you want to stand and declare God to them? So which path will you take? Will you take the easy road, the wide road, the paved path to destruction? O will you take the path that's narrow and full of obstructions and battles but leads to everlasting glory.

Can You Bear It?
1 Peter 5:6-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The bible never said that God would never put anything on you that you couldn't bear. It is a lie from satan himself, where he twists it and changes it to something that isn't true. Jesus Christ was tempted when the devil twisted Gods own scripture. His grace is sufficient for ALL. There are many things that will happen in our lives that we will never understand. Do you realize that Jesus could no longer carry is own cross? No other religion can claim what Christians can, we serve a living God. When we get to the point to where we can't carry our burdens, we need to ask for help from God. At times, we want God to take our problems from us but we end up picking them back up.

Gods Not Going to Kick the Door In
Revelation 3:20-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God doesn't beat on the door to get your attention. God will not drag you to the altar. God wants you to open the door, wants you to worship because you love Him. Just because you're a church member doesn't mean that you are automatically going to heaven. Jesus was so stressed and troubled that He sweat drops of blood. They then beat Jesus 99 times and was not recognized. Then they plucked out his beard. They then forced Him to carry a cross through the town upon a hill. At this point they nailed him to the cross in order for him to hang with His own weight. Even in the state that Jesus was in, He still loved the thief next to Him and even those around by saying forgive them. The entire earth knew that Jesus was the Christ. We live in a world today that people will live how they feel what is right in their own eyes. Some say they want some big proof from God that He's real. He has already done that, time and time again. What more do you want Him to do? We should love God with everything in our heart. Why are you here? Why do you serve Him? How long has it been since you've sat with God and communed with Him? God will not force you to worship Him.
