God's Second Coming (Part 4)
2 Peter 3:10 (Part of the 2 Peter 3 series).
God has it all under control. What the Word of God says it means. There is not meant to be any confusion. The day of the Lord will be unexpected. The day of the Lord begins with the rapture. Jesus is coming soon and it will be unannounced & unexpected. The second coming is unstoppable, it will be destruction to everything we know and is judgement. Our day is now, today is the day of salvation.
Preached by Tommy Boring on February 7, 2016 (Sunday Evening).
Bare Record of Jesus
Luke 1:9-17 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
What God says will come to pass. We are around people everyday that hear false prophecy. One must be saved in order to understand the grace of God. The message is still the same, repent. God still to this day speaks thru men. Just as Elijah lived in the wilderness and was feed by God, John the Baptist also lived in the wilderness and was feed by God. Mat 11:13-14 Everything in the bible is breathed by God up until John. When Jesus was born, God put earthly flesh on to walk amongst the people. Mat 17:10-13 John the Baptist was the one prophecies about to be sent in place of Elijah. Moses, Elijah and Jesus spent 40 days in a wilderness. After the church goes home at rapture, 7 years later Jesus will come at His second coming. There will be two witnesses sent to earth, those witnesses have the power to kill any that come against them. They shall be killed and will lie in the streets for all to see for three days. Then they shall receive life again.

Don't Take Your Chances
Jude 1:5-16 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Regardless of what one may think, God is coming back. Beginning in the new testaments, God created new promises. Those that are saved will be changed in a blink of an eye, the rest (lost) will remain behind. When God comes for the second time, He will not be coming as a lamb but as a lion. He will come to battle against sin and evil. Just as it's happened in the past when cities were warned for their judgement, it has been promised again for the entire earth. Gods fire will judge and destroy the evil just as Sodom and Gomorrha. So where will the saved be during the second coming? We will be with Him on that day resting and waiting until the tribulation period is finished. Don't think for another second that you'll have a chance to get saved AFTER the rapture. God has never hidden that He is the final judge.
Preached by Tommy Boring on February 1, 2015 (Sunday Morning).
Why Do Bad Things Happen?
Genesis 3:1-24 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
In the beginning everything was good and perfect. Sin was brought to man through satan. Once sin was brought into the world, God cursed people because of the wickedness. Sin causes mothers to kill their children. Sin causes fathers to leave their family and children. God didn't leave us in the sin though. He gave us a savior to save us from the sin if only we would believe in Him. God gave us all a free will to choose which path we will take in our lives. At some point in our lives we will all die. Once we die our bodies will return to the earth just as was spoken in Genesis'. After death we will be judged and at that point what we chose in our lives, whether we have accepted Christ as you savior will be brought forth. No savior, hell will be your eternal life. In our current life, people think we are smarter than each other including God. People think they do not need God because they have it all figured out. God created all things therefore He is smarter than anyone would ever want to be. John 3:16-21 People do not like the light because it makes them feel bad, guilty. No matter what you've done, God still loves you. Love God with all your heart above all things. Why, because He created you and everything around you. Love your neighbor like you love yourself.
