Yet, There Is Room
Luke 14:15-24 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There's an importance for us as Christians to be doing our part. Churches all across the world are inviting the lost in to be saved. But just as in biblical times, people are known to give excuses why they don't want to come. Salvation can't be obtained by your wanting, it's by invitation only. Do you feel separated from God? Do you feel as if you've been left out? God loves you and there is room at His table for you. Many feel as if it'll embarrass someone or themselves if they come to the house of God. Thinking about the story of Noah. God didn't give Noah the dimensions for the Ark to save the world because He knew that they wouldn't come. Clearly there was plenty of room for hundreds of people but only 8 were saved. Noah did his part warning the people and inviting them to be saved from the flood. Noah didn't shut the door of the ark, God did. The woman with an issue of blood knew that all she had to do was to just touch Him she'd be healed. There were hundreds of people there that day and many people were touching him. But Jesus knew right away when she touched Him. No matter what, press towards Him. There once was a man and his friends that needed healing but the crowd was too large. His friends knew what was needed and they climbed the building and tore off the roof to lower their friend down to Jesus. Jesus healed him and he walked out of the building. There is room for you. John the revelator seen things that he wrote about in revelation. He seen a number that no man could number when he looked into Heaven. The last thing he wrote about was that the spirit says, come. Even though in Heaven there is a number at that time that no man could number, God says there is still room for you. Just for you! Right before Jesus came into the world they were looking for a place for Him to be born. They struggled a place for Him. There was no room. The contrast is that He has a place just for you prepared. All you have to do is to accept His invitation. Once His table is full then there will be no more invitations sent.

Do You Know?
1 John 5:18-21 (Part of the Does He Abide Within? series).
There are some truths. One of those is those that are born of God are a new creature. Those things that you once loved as a lost person you hate once you become saved. Likewise, if you continue to follow after those sins of the world then you've not been saved. If you've been born again, you will seek out more things to do for Jesus. Secondly, after being born again, we know that the Spirit that lives inside us will never leave. This means that it's no longer a burden to get up and come to church. We that are born again will have a want to come to church. Being born again also means that satan can not touch you. Stop giving credit to satan when God is in full control. Sorrow comes to those lost and saved and when they come to a Christian it's not always the Devils fault. Thirdly, we know as a Christian we are on the winning side, nothing can be against us because God is greater than ALL. Do you KNOW if you're on Gods side? The opposite of that is that you're lost. There is only two ways you could be, lost or saved. Just because you're a good person doesn't mean you're saved. The fourth thing is, we as Christians KNOW that Jesus Christ has come and walked on this earth, lived and died then was resurrected for our sins. We also know that He has given us an understanding of the scripture. The preacher can NOT save, invite or conjure up a spirit to save a person. The only way to defeat a lie is with the truth. The fifth thing is that we know the true God of eternal life. Keep in mind that anything that competes with God in your life is an idol. What tries to steal Gods time in your life?

Willing To Lend A Hand
Acts 3:1-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Our responsibility is to seek out those that need the spiritual uplifting of God. Sometimes people just want someone to care. Doesn't the lost look for something that will bring them peace and joy? God chose to use us to seek out those that need Him. We as Christians are to be the body of Christ and help those in need for them to look not at us, but to Christ. The devil wants everyone to be distracted from looking towards God. We should live our lives so that others are sure that something will happen with Christ. Do you have confidence in your church that they will be obedient to God? God never promised prosperity in your life. Our earthly expectations doesn't compare to what God can give. Sometimes it takes a touch, it may take you to say something.

Hitch in' A Ride On A Coat Tail
Acts 2:36-38 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is a lot of things that you can do to fool a person but you will never fool God. One can't get saved on mamaws and papaws salvation. If you are not moved by the Spirit of God then you are either lost or backslid. Don't be misled by a feeling. Acts 7 There is only one thing that can cut an inward man and that's the Holy Ghost. God is the only one that knows how to cut into the secrets of your heart. You can reject God when He calls but you will know when He cuts you. Being unresponsive is a response. No matter how old you are or who you are, if you do it in the Spirit then God will work through you. One can't be saved until they're lost. Man can't tell you that you're lost. Acts 24:24 When God calls you to be saved and your heart begins to tremble, that is the time to be saved, not a later time. Acts 26:21-28

Come And See
John 1:35-46 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Experience is something that you can't learn, it's something that you have to be a part of. Nothing is hidden with God. All are invited to Him from the richest to the poorest, from the youngest to the oldest. Whatever you desire, just step out and seek Him. We live in a world that stands against Him but He still stands with out stretched arms. Do whatever you must do to seek His face. We allow to many hinderances to keep us away from God. You must start with faith. This all sounds simple to simply do, but when it comes times for your experience, satan steps in and throws an obstacle. Don't give up, step over those obstacles and head for Jesus.
