Inside the Holy Place
Ex 26:36 the Vail was beautiful in nature. It was to separate the the Holy Place from the Holy of Holy's. There were two vails of separation, one at the temple to separate the Bronze Altar and Laver from the Holy Place and the other from the Holy Place to the Holy of Holy's. The description of Vail is a separation. In this time there was no way to get to God no matter what they did. The Vail separated man from God. They knew during that time that God was always there because of the ever burning fire and smoke that followed. The vails purpose was that to show that no one could get to God but God had a better way planned. In the beginning, God walked with Adam and Eve but something separated them, sin. Mat 27:50-51 Christ died and then something happened to the vail. God raised up a new tabernacle not made by man but by God. Up until the minute that Christ died the tabernacle was used, the fire for the Altar was still stoked, the bread was still made, the lamps still burnt and the incense still smoldered. But when Christ died, it all stopped and the vail was torn in two. At that point God was saying, come in. It was the greatest example of love and making a way for ALL to be saved and be with Him in Heaven. They did try to fix the vail and placed it right back up. In some religions they are still waiting for the Messiah. They are blind to the truth that Christ has already come, died and rose again while we are waiting for His second coming. Isa 59:1-2 everyone is a sinner but thru Christ those sins are washed clean allowing anyone and everyone that accepts Christ to be with God in Heaven for eternity. Still today there is a vail upon many people's heart. That vail separates you from God. God has opened the vail, His vail to all. It's up to you to rip and remove your hearts vail to accept Christ. Psa 66:18 this is the unbelief, the vail that separates you from God.

Altar of Incense
Exodus 30:1-10 (Part of the Tabernacle, Covenant and a Priest series).
Inside the Holy Place
The Table of Show Bread
Altar of Incense
Top of the Altar of Incense
Coals from the Bronze Altar was to be brought to the Altar of Incense. The incense was to be burnt 24/7. The continues incense is something that's odd to us because we do not follow it any longer. The smoke was continuous and perpetual which is the same as His intercession that He has for us now, Heb 7. It was enjoyable to God, sweet smelling to Him. Christ is our incense now. The incense is exclusive, Ex 30:7-8. Heb 7:25 Jesus is making intersession for us constantly.
Ex 30:34-37 there was only one thing that God would accept and it was specific. We also have the only acceptable form and that is Jesus Christ. He alone is the only way unto Heaven and ones salvation. Rom 8:26-28
It's important that it's exclusive. Two times a day the incense was to be placed on the altar. It was a constant stream of smell. No strange fire was to be brought, it was to be pure. Just as today, if you try to do it yourself God will not accept it. Nothing other than Jesus Christ will God accept. Religion, church attendance, baptisms or works will never get one into Heaven. It's a strange fire, offering and will not be accepted by God for your salvation. John 14:6
There is still power in the mediation. You should be very careful of your lifestyle and how you live. Death has been on our trail since we were born into this world. But, God gave us a way to escape thru Jesus Christ alone that we may escape death to live in Heaven for eternity BUT only if Jesus Christ is accepted as your savior. Rom 8:30-39
The offering has been made and the incense is burning. Come and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior.

The Menorah; The Importance Of Light In The Darkness
Exodus 25:31-40 (Part of the Tabernacle, Covenant and a Priest series).
Every day the priest would enter into the Holy Place. The table of show bread was ate and the oil and wicks were trimmed. The lamp was representing the tree of life and even Jesus referred to Himself as the vine and branches. Buds represent something is about to happen. A talent of gold is about 75 pounds cost in todays time, $1.25 million. The math on the lamp total is seven, a perfect number for the branches. In order to get into the Holiest of Holies there must be some light. Natural light was not in the Holy Place therefore there had to be a source of light created.
The oil had to be pure oil and had to be beaten, not pressed. Just as Jesus wasn't pressed but He was beaten to make us pure. God could have made the the lamps to never burn out but He required new oil every morning. Just as us, we need fueled every day by Jesus.
Knops being buds, something that had not yet bloomed. At some point a bud will form a flower, then will form a fruit.
Once you're saved, called out of the darkness, a light will forever shine the path to righteousness. Natural light can not illuminate the Word of God, it can not get one to God. Except the light of God draw one, that is the only way. So until you're lost you can't be saved, until you're sick you can't be healed. God is the only one that knows the path because He sees beyond what we can ever seen. While Jesus was in the world He was the light of the world. BUT, He left and and filled us the saved with His light. Without Him leaving there would have been no way for the light to be left inside Christians. Back before Jesus came to earth times were truly dark but when Jesus fulfilled the plan of salvation, He left a light for us to always have. His word is the brightest light that could ever be. In Heaven there is no need for a sun because God Himself is the light that shines. His light shines so bright that there are no shadows in Heaven.
There are times when we will be in dark places. We can not fight them with the flesh but with the spiritual darts provided by Gods Word.

Exodus 30:17-21 (Part of the Tabernacle, Covenant and a Priest series).
The laver basically means round. It was round at the top and round at the bottom. Running water was a must as it could not be stagnant water.
The sacrifice was already made by the time the laver was used. One must be prepared by using the laver before going into the presence of God. We must all prepare to meet God. We should all stop and think about who God is and if we are preparing ourselves to go before Him.
There was life in the water. God told Moses to strike a rock and water began to run to give life to those that were thirsty. The lady at the well was told that Jesus Christ can provide a water that a person would never thirst again. There is also a fountain of water that flows from under Christ's throne.
There are things that we touch, that we see, that we involve ourselves in that are of the world that should be purged of. Imagine the priest standing at the laver, rubbing and searching, rubbing and searching just to make sure that he was clean before God. God said that if the priest was not clean prior to coming before Him that he would be struck dead.
There are things that we do on a daily basis are likely many sinful things. This is because we are of the flesh and the flesh is sinful.
James 4:8 we should draw closer to God BUT we should cleans our hands (sins, repent) before doing so. If you're a Christian and are having a problem getting your prayers thru to God, make sure your life is cleansed from sin. God will not hear you if you're in sin because He can see/hear over the sin. Ephesians 5:26 Christ gave Himself to the church but He is the water that washes away and removes our sins. Once we are saved, all of our sins on the inside are forgiven and removed forever BUT the outward flesh is sinful and should be cleaned often.

So What's Your Plan?
John 10:6-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Most say they pray but do they really? Are you praying the right way? When you have that intimate time with God in prayer, is your closet clean? The devil will often tell us that our little prayers are just good enough. But, the truth is, we are not engaged and are not fighting. So what's the big deal on not praying or engaging ourselves in the war? Souls, lost souls are in the balance. The story has been told over and over because people will not listen. The problem is not sin, it's because people refuse to let God work. There is NO other way to heaven but through Jesus Christ, none. The enemy has a plan in place already, do you? We are all guilty of pride and selfishness. We find ourselves that way because we choose to listen to the enemy. A robber is someone that takes things with force that does not belong to them. A thief is someone that take things by manipulation. When something in your life needs prayer you will shut your life down to pray for that need. But when we hear of someone else's prayer we just speak a prayer and we go on with our regular life. There is never a day that goes by that we are not a sinner. It's a privilege to pray corporately but the devil says it's ok to just sit back. The worst thing for a Christian to be is satisfied. Faith doesn't mean anything until it's been worked. Satan can only be in one place at one time, but he has many demons, helpers. Satan himself was thrown out of heaven because he was prideful but we think we can get away with it daily. Have you fully surrendered your life to God? The enemy will tell you that as long as your life, family and health is ok, everything is alright. If you think you don't need to change, then that's one of your biggest problems.
