Who's Side Are You On?
Joshua 2:1-24 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is a time coming where faith will become real. Being born again is a choice granted by God. When you decide by faith that you want to be saved and God saves you, He makes a promise that He will save your household, however, your household must also make the same choice as you did. Once you're saved you become and influence to the rest of your household. God gave us all a true token to prove that He's coming back and that's His blood and Holy Spirit. Therefore whether you die or Jesus comes back, He will take what is His and if you've got His token, you'll go with Him. Just as Rahab had a Scarlett rope, a thread that would save her life, we as Christians have a scarlet rope that binds us all together and it's the blood of Christ. Josh 6:25 she lost all of her city but she became a part of a much larger family, the family of God. Mat 1:5 the linage of Christ was laid out and most of the time women were never mentioned except here when Rahab is listed as being a direct decedent to Christ. Rahab was the great, great grandmother of King David.

Teach a Child in the Way it Should Go
1 Samuel 3:1-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Giving the best to your children, Jesus. Teach them that in the time of their struggles to rely on God. We as parents have a major responsibility to bring up our children in a Godly way. Police your children and what they encounter whether it be the television, radio, schools or other homes. We as adults will be gone and our children will take over at that point. Your children need to see and hear us as parents pray and trust God. Prayer has been removed schools and the government. Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean that your child will also be a Christian. What keeps one out of hell is not someone else's salvation but theirs only.

So What's Your Plan?
John 10:6-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Most say they pray but do they really? Are you praying the right way? When you have that intimate time with God in prayer, is your closet clean? The devil will often tell us that our little prayers are just good enough. But, the truth is, we are not engaged and are not fighting. So what's the big deal on not praying or engaging ourselves in the war? Souls, lost souls are in the balance. The story has been told over and over because people will not listen. The problem is not sin, it's because people refuse to let God work. There is NO other way to heaven but through Jesus Christ, none. The enemy has a plan in place already, do you? We are all guilty of pride and selfishness. We find ourselves that way because we choose to listen to the enemy. A robber is someone that takes things with force that does not belong to them. A thief is someone that take things by manipulation. When something in your life needs prayer you will shut your life down to pray for that need. But when we hear of someone else's prayer we just speak a prayer and we go on with our regular life. There is never a day that goes by that we are not a sinner. It's a privilege to pray corporately but the devil says it's ok to just sit back. The worst thing for a Christian to be is satisfied. Faith doesn't mean anything until it's been worked. Satan can only be in one place at one time, but he has many demons, helpers. Satan himself was thrown out of heaven because he was prideful but we think we can get away with it daily. Have you fully surrendered your life to God? The enemy will tell you that as long as your life, family and health is ok, everything is alright. If you think you don't need to change, then that's one of your biggest problems.

Gods Will or the Comfort Zone
Genesis 28:10-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God loves everyone of His children no matter what. Sometimes one has to leave to do Gods will, leave your comfort zone. There isn't anything that you'll go through that God hasn't been through already. If you're born again, there isn't anywhere you go where God is not already there. At times we may have to take a leap of faith to find Gods will. God is all knowing and He knows what we will do and what we won't do. If you're a child of God, all things will work out for the good. When God takes you on a journey He will always go with you and He will bring you home. One of the reason that we would have to leave our comfort zone is to leave the things that are holding us back.

Fitly Framed Together
Ephesians 2:19-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
It took an adoption to save the lost, being born into a sinful family that doesn't want you, God adopted you if you've been saved. It's staggering to think about the promises of God. Being part of a church, fellowship or work will not be able to claim Jesus on the day of death. Being a born again Christian means that you are no longer a foreigner but part of the family of God. If something has been built that means that there must have been a builder. If you've been saved, you are part of the house of a God that but out of lively stones. Stones are something that are sturdy, hard, fast. The saved should know that they have the responsibility to be part of the house of God. Once saved, you have a true purpose and you should yield to the master builder. There is a firm foundation and a chief corner stone that the house of God is built upon. We should be growing with Christ daily, therefore alive. So what's the purpose of Gods house? Each building has a purpose. Gods house is built together for the Glory of God not to fill a building, but a soul, person.
