Get Ready And Give Thanks
Ezekiel 37:1-13 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Many times we come to Gods house and we find ourselves not prepared. Romans 5:8, God loves His children and knew what we would do to run our backs to Him. BUT He still loves us. 1 Peter 5:7, we shouldn't try to fix the problems in our lives because He wants us to cast them on Him. Some times in our lives we go thru dry times and it's due to not being at Gods side. No matter what problem we have God has the answer for it. It may not be what we want the answer to be, but He knows the future and what is good for us. Have you ever taken the time to look back and see where you could have been with God coming into your life. Without God intervening in ours lives we would surely be in a heap of trouble. Christians shouldn't feel comfortable in this world because this isn't our home. John 3:8, have you ever felt His presence in such a way that it'll make you want to shout? A lot of people in the church come together to talk about the problems and become a social club. Instead of talking about each other we should be edifying the brethren. Be careful cause it only takes one time. One time to skip a church service, then you'll skip another, and another and before you know it you're out in the world and living a sinful life. Everyday that God gives you is a gift because it's not guaranteed.

Who Is God In Your Life?
Isaiah 45:5-7 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
You need to ask yourself why you attend church. Some will say it's because you want to worship God. Do you realize who God really is though? Isa 45:7, we fail a lot of times of knowing just who God is. Who is He in your life? There is a false doctrine that's commonly called the "little god doctrine" which puts God on the same level as us as humans. They believe they can live an upright sinless life and as long as they live that way they can do anything God can do. The bible teaches us that there is no one that's sinless but Jesus Christ Himself. We ALL fall short of the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ was NOT just a man, He was God incarnate. This means that Jesus was sinless and there is none that will ever be like Him. God is all knowing, nothing takes God by surprise. God does not operate on a knee jerk reaction. God knows if you're going to fall away from Him before it ever happens. If you'll stop and think about who God really is then your worship would change. You're view would change from the troubles in your life to the one who truly controls everything in your life. God is not your crutch, He is not your copilot.

Lip Service
James 2:14-23 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There's a difference between saying and doing. There are many people that are willing to make the statement that they believe that Jesus is the son of God. On top of that is that there are those that will pat those people on the back and tell them that they are alright with God. Having your name on the church books doesn't give one more faith or make one saved. Some today say it all day long that they believe but nothing to prove it. There is a difference between saying it and doing it. Their are pastors that tell there congregants that all they have to do is simply say it and they'll be saved. "Repeat after me..." We still live in a society that state they're saved but have no true evidence of such. Getting saved is not anything that a preacher does but an operation that is done by Christ Himself. Just because you tell the devil to flee means nothing because it's the Holy Spirit that causes the devils to leave. Not everyone that says Lord, Lord will be in Heaven. Matt 7:22-23, Have we not done wonderful things in your name? Jesus Christ loves you and does not want you to go to Hell. Make sure you're saved! Even the Devils and Satan say they believe in God but as we all now they are ALL destined for Hell. The Holy Spirit MUST reveal unto you that you're lost before you can be saved. You can go thru the motions, say all the right things but if Christ hasn't invited and revealed to you then you're wasting your time and hurting others. James 2:23, Abraham said he believed God. But God tested him and thru his works/faith it was shown that he truly was a "Friend of God". Is you're faith real? Has it stood the test of time? Has it wavered? Is it your faith alone and not someone else's?

The God That Ponders The Heart
Proverbs 21:2 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There is nothing that one can hide from God. He can everything from the thought to the action. God doesn't work on the outside but the inside. Most walk around and think we've got God fooled by hiding. The great thing is that He knows what we are capable of. He knows each and everyone of us when we were formed in the womb.

David was the youngest of his siblings, a runt. He was given the lowest job, a Shepard, but he loved it. God seen that David was important and had him anointed by Samuel. David went out to fight Goliath because Goliath stood against his God. David had confidence that his God would take care of him no matter what. Everyone around David looked at him from the outside, they judged him by his outward appearance not knowing what God knew and could see. They were focused too much on the outward appearance. Just as we do, we are too quick to judge someone based on their appearances. We also miss out on victories because we are too focused on the mountain.

When God ponders the heart He doesn't care what we think because He knows. He will address the sin with you but we like to justify those sins. He tries to mold us into more like Him by trying to get us to repent of those sins.

The Will of God
Romans 8:26-28 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Have you ever been in a place where you didn't know what to do? Things that are known of the will of God, everything that's inside the Bible is His will. Gal 1:14; Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins. It wasn't something that just happened. It's not Gods will that anyone should die lost. It's a personal choice when God calls that Salvation is excepted. 1 Thes; it's Gods will that we all to be holy. We should try to live sinless at all times. 1 Thes 5:13; we should also give thanks to God no matter what happens. Those are things that are known about Gods will. One must read and study Gods Word in order to know what His will is for our lives.

Just as we know what His will is, there are also things we don't know. Don't we beat ourselves up over doing the right things? Most all people don't want to do the wrong things. Now the devil likes to confuse and he can come to us and whisper to us and we are fooled into thinking it was God. This is why we are to try the spirits. Rom 8:26 is clear stating that we usually don't know what to do. Christ Himself wrestled with it in the garden making sure He was to follow thru with His sacrifice, His crucifixion. So how do we know we are doing the right thing, the Spirit of God dwells inside those that are saved and it makes intercession for those. This is the direct connection to doing the right things. Now if you've got sin in your heart then you're going to have a really hard time hearing and knowing what God says to you. This is because sin blocks out Gods communication because He can't help over the sin. Rom 8:27 this speaks about the shepherding of Jesus Christ searching out the heart and knowing the mind and whether it's truly yearning for God. If the mind of the spirit yearns for God then He makes intercession in our behalf to God His father. Rom 8:28 clearly states that ALL things work together for those that love God. The variable is that if we love the world or some of it then you're not 100% in love with God. That has always been the problem with us as humans. We should love Him more than anything else and if we do, nothing else will matter because it will ALL be taken care of.

This all sounds simple but the devil comes against us and causes us to doubt and fear. This happens because he wants to destroy us all. The little things are usually what we struggle with but put your focus on God and your relationship with Him.
