He's Always There
Romans 1:1-6 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Some say they can't live right because they feel they fail constantly. Most want to run to the preacher because they want him to like them and be accepted. No one has done anything to deserve salvation. No amount of works or money will bring salvation. If one can't earn salvation then one can't do anything to lose salvation. Salvation isn't based upon ourselves, it's based upon Christ washing you're sins away. Genesis 17:5 We have a God that is ALL. He's not limited by anything or anyone. God is looking for obedience and your limits He can overcome. If God says He will never leave you, what does that really mean to you? Romans 8:28 He is always working. We should all learn how to say, yes Lord, and do it every time He speaks to us. Not only Abraham pleasing to God through his obedience but Enoch and Noah. If you think your life is bad right now, stop and think about how your life would be if there was no Jesus. James 1:12, Rev 2:8 We all deserve to be sitting in jail for some sin or another but God came to forgive through obedience.
Preached by Steve Howard on September 21, 2016 (Wednesday).
Knowing The Difference
Romans 6:23 (Part of the Revival 2013 series).
We normally don't go to the king with our problems. If we want a true revival, we must first look in the mirror. The Lord didn't save you to be a halfway Christian. He gave you everything He had. We sometimes live what we are not. There is no big or little sin. Stop compromising with sin. The reason we lack confidence is because we lack prayer. Satan wants to be careless with your life. People think they have something when in reality, they have nothing. Don't put your life/salvation on hold when God is calling your name.
Preached by Jeremy McNally on June 17, 2013 (Revival).
The God Of The Impossible
Luke 1:26-38 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Us as humans are bound by the limits of our own minds. We place limits on a God that has NO limits. Something impossible is something that can not be done. A miracle is an event that is unexplainable by natural or scientific law. Miracles are nothing for God to perform. Do we doubt what God is capable of? The greatest miracle to take place is your salvation. God will not perform miracles not because it's impossible, but because of unbelief.
Preached by Tommy Boring on February 27, 2013 (Wednesday).
