Don't Wait!
(Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Hell enlarges itself daily with those that are not saved and die. No where in the bible does it say that Heaven is getting larger. You can't buy your way into Heaven. No amount of works will get one into Heaven. Your family can't pray you into Heaven no matter the amount of love they have for you. Who you know makes no difference on your Heavenly home. The one and only way to get to Heaven is to be saved by Jesus Christ. Not a single person knows when they will die. One doesn't wake up knowing they would be dead by the next day. Prepare to die today, don't wait!
Preached by James Willis on June 28, 2017 (Wednesday).
You Better Know It
Ephesians 2:8-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Many folks will tell you that there are many ways into Heaven. In the beginning God created everything. Throughout time before you can create something one must have something first. When God created the heavens and the earth He created something out of nothing. The ones that have died and gone to Hell, they all wish that they listened to the ones that warned them about Hell and how to avoid it. What is the will of God? It's not Gods will that anyone perish, therefore He wants everyone to go to Heaven. It's your choice to go to heaven when God calls you to be saved. There are a lot of good people in the world. Some do good works because they want the attention while others do it because they care or love others. But no amount of good works will get one into Heaven. In Matthew 7:15, God warns everyone of deceivers. We must study the bible to know the truth. There are some leaders that lead falsely for money, attention or simply because they are being deceived themselves. Know your bible inside and out, bury it deep inside your heart. Some will say that the old, KJV writings is too hard to understand, they are correct but it's not the translations. It's a heart condition, one should study no matter how hard it is, study and pray for God to give you the understanding.
Preached by Alex Smith on June 14, 2017 (Wednesday).
Right On Time
Joshua 14:12 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Gods always right on time. Satan won't attack you when you're up on the mountain top with God but just wait till you start back down to the valley. Just a little talk with Jesus will calm the troubles in your life. Once you realize what Jesus did for you, you're about to get a blessing! Joshua 14:12 There's times that there are giants in our life in the form of trials and tribulations. We need to ask God not to remove the trials, mountains but to simply help us to climb it. No matter what comes your way that trouble you, Jesus is bigger than anything. The only thing that matters at the end of time or your time is if the Blood of Christ has been applied to your soul. Your works and good deeds are not good enough for heaven.
Preached by James Willis on April 12, 2017 (Wednesday).
Are You Still Doing Your Part?
John 14:8-15 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Being a Christian means we must work, it's never over being a Christian. Just because we get old doesn't mean we sit down and stop working. We all as Christians have a great work to do. We as the Christians are His mouth, hands, feet, the whole body of Christ. You can do all things, through Christ. Christ will not ask you to do something that He Himself hasn't already done. We should all be serious with the calling that Christ has given us. Christians are all a part of the same body, one not over the other. If one doesn't take care of their yard it will quickly turn into a mess. It turns into a mess because it's your yard to take care of. We are not saved by our works. Once you're saved, you're called to work.
Preached by Jeff Patton on August 3, 2016 (Wednesday).
Are You Spiritually Impaired? (Part 4)
2 Peter 1:9-11 (Part of the 2 Peter 1 series).
If you want to know what God's will is for you, you just read it. We should let our light shine. If you're lost, you can let God's light shine thru you. The world is blind to to the will of God. There are Christians that feed upon the world but they will become blind to the spirit. The more you apply the Christian graces the more able you'll be able to see the will of God. When you're close to God you'll be shown what the enemy has in store because God knows what's it's up to. Most backslid Christian can't see that they have been forgiven of their past sins. Once you forget what God has done for you you'll begin to backslide and fall away from God. If you can't see Spiritually and you can't remember the day that you were saved, you need to study if you've ever been saved. Some work so hard at doing things trying to get into heaven by their works but their works will never get them in to heaven. They are basically working their way to hell. If you're salvation is based upon somebody telling you that you've been saved, you need to question your salvation. No one but you and God knows if you've been born again. If you're in a race, you're in it to try to win it. You don't have to be born again to help the homeless, feed the hungry, adopt the orphans, but you must be born again to have the graves of God. 1 Cor 3:15 He was able to get to heaven but he suffered the entire way. 1 Cor 3:14 If you live in the graces you will walk into heaven through a great entrance or welcoming.
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 9, 2015 (Wednesday).
