Made Ready
Mark 14:12-15 (Part of the Communion Services series).
All we had to do is to accept Him into our hearts. He made us ready. There is a great blessing to look back and remember those that have gone on and how they stood for God. A lot of people haven't dug down into solid the Rock and therefore are being washed away. The devil will pull the weak Christians away from God. We need to be humble before God and others. We are to love each other great and small. There are still people in this world that do not believe that there is a God. There are a lot of good people in this world that would do anything for another but do not know Christ. God loves all of us because He created us in His own image. Back in the old testaments a blood sacrifices had to be made for the forgiveness of ones sins. Jesus then came to fulfill the sacrifices for ALL by giving His blood. Jesus' for message was simply, repent, but since that time there has been so many messages preached that everyone in the world should be saved. What does it take to be saved, ready? It takes the same thing for everyone. It takes you to be ready, willing to open your heart and accept Jesus.
Preached by Ricky Boring on June 7, 2014 (Communion).
Addicted
Hebrews 2:1-4 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We must be doers and not just hearers. You must be addicted to God. Nothing in this world has the power than the Word of God. Reverence the Word in your heart, commit yourself. We commit ourselves to meaningless things everyday but fail to commit to God and His Word.
Preached by Tommy Boring on January 30, 2013 (Wednesday).
