God Is Faithful
1 Corinthians 10:13 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The life of Job still takes place to this day. People lose their finances, loved ones, personal belongings, etc. Those things that we lose are all worldly things that we should never put above God in our lives. Everyone is tested, everyone is put through trials. God is God in the good and He's God in the bad. What anchors you to this world? A husband would lay his life down to protect his wife but he can not allow his love for his wife be more that his love for God. Grief is real and you must pray with it but time will take the grief away. Whatever your concern is rest assured God has already been there and has defeated it, claim it. Regardless of the trial in your life, God is faithful. Being faithful means everything He has promised He will keep. God has never failed anyone. There's not a single person that wants to go through heartache but the heartache is what grows us. When you're going through a test God has put you into a controlled environment. When it gets to the point that you feel like you can't bare anymore, He gives you strength to pass the test. If He doesn't give you strength then He will provide a way out. Romans 8:28

The Ram Is In The Thicket
1 Corinthians 10:13 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The trials we go through are common but they seem personal when they affect our selves. But why do we go through them? First we need to understand temptation. Temptation is a test given from someone. We must ask ourselves if the test is from God or Satan. 1 Peter 1:1-9, at times it might feel as if the test is too hard. If it's a test of God then it's to grow you as a stronger Christian. In these test from God we can either pass or fail them. We can always run away and try to do it ourselves but when it's Gods test we can only run so far on our own. At times we like to blame the devil for tests that are of God. When God makes a promise He will keep it to the very end. God is always very purposeful in everything. Through tribulation we receive patience. The trial of your faith strips away the worldly trusts to point the focus all back upon God. He gives us our health, financial freedoms, etc. God will never test you with evil. The devil will test us with things that appeal to the lust of the flesh. God will not test you with another women to check your love for your wife. This means that for the most difficult battles you've went through God was behind them? Yes, because those are the toughest items to break through in your life. We usually don't have the answers to why He tests. We often don't have the answers as to when the test will begin or start. In the end, we will make it through because in the end the answer is because God brought me through.

Amazing Grace
1 Corinthians 1:2 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Grace is what opens the plan of salvation. We didn't deserve to be saved from hell, but grace was extended to us. Grace is what justifies us. Grace is sufficient for ALL. Grace will appear to all mankind. Sometimes our thoughts start having pity on ourselves, but think back to the grace that set us free. Is it important to have grace? Intellect and money will only take you so far. What would you do if Gods grace was removed from your life? Peace is something that most are in search for. Peace can only come through God. If you have been saved by Jesus Christ then you have been given the Grace and Peace of God. What's the value of grace? What would you trade for peace?
