Do You Believe?
John 11:20-26 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We all have an appointed time that we ALL will not pass and that's death. John 3 John speaks of being born again. We usually get caught up in things here that usually do not matter but we never think about the eternity. It's really easy to say, I know who Jesus is. Rom 10:9 One must truly KNOW Jesus in order to know Him. Ask most anyone and they'll claim that there a Christian but there is usually no evidence. People have all kinds of testimonies but there is one thing that should take place and that's Jesus calling your name. One can't hear Jesus until Jesus opens your heart and allows you to know that you're lost. God is not the author of confusion and if you're struggling with possibly being saved, seek God and ask Him about your salvation. We are all going to face death, sickness and struggles. Many times we make salvation hard but it's man that makes it difficult. The simplicity of salvation just believing in Jesus Christ. John 16:29-33 Greater is Who is in you than that, that is in the world. But in order to have Him, you must be born again. Mat 15:13-17 Who do you say who Jesus is Monday thru Saturday? It's life or death! Do you truly KNOW Jesus?

Flaw In the Faith
John 4:46-54 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
To believe without a doubt. To believe with constraints on God. We as humans concoct a thought that we must do before something happens. We do nothing but limit God by these thoughts. There is no limits to what God can do for He can do anything. We look at circumstances and think that, "if someone would just go visit them". We often tie the miracle to something we conceived. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The Word of God is critical in our Christian growth. The things that were done while performing the miracles was not necessary in order for the miracle to take place. Only His word was needed along with the faith of the person for the miracles to be fulfilled. Faith isn't limited by earthly limitations. Humans do not have to be involved for miracles to take place.
Preached by Tommy Boring on February 12, 2017 (Sunday Evening).
Doubt Is Real
Matthew 11:1-11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
John the Baptist not only heard God vocally but he also seen God come down and lite upon Christ during His baptism but, John still doubted later in his life. God is patient with doubt. As long as we are in this human form we will always doubt. The men in the boat with the storms raging doubted they would be saved while Jesus slept below deck. The man with the son plagued with demons believed Jesus would heal him but still had unbelief. The disciples during the sermon to thousands doubted they could feed the multitude, wanted to send them away. God cares about our doubts. Having doubt doesn't concern God because He knows we are unwilling to understand His ways. God proofed to the multitudes that He could feed thousands with just a few fish. God proofed to the men on the boat that He has control over the storms. God proofed to the man that He could cast out the demons from his son. God proofed to John that He was the Christ all powerful. Three things that can help in our doubt. First, admit it. Second, doubt your own doubt. Third, believe what you know.

The Way That Jesus Speaks
Acts 9:1-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
No one can speak like Jesus speaks. There are some so-called Christians that are bewildered to hear how Christ speaks. It's because they've never heard Christ speak to them. Christ is the only one that can judge therefore the only one that can convict of sins. We as Christians are the only religion that has a god that speaks back. All of the other gods are dead and gone and have never spoke back once they died. Friends and family can love and comfort but at some point it's not enough, but God can give a peace that never goes away and comforts beyond the physical. Why does He speak to us? When we hate Him so much at times, He still speaks to us. Why? Because He loves us in spite of ourselves. His love surpasses all understanding.
Preached by Bruce Whitehead on May 25, 2016 (Wednesday).
What Are You Clinging To?
Mark 8:32-37 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
How many times have you told God no? Are you saved? If you're lost then you can't understand Gods Word. The work of the devil is to take the truth of God and make it a lie. Satan has not changed since the beginning, he still wants to defeat God. When one stands against the word of God then they are doing what the devil wants to do. Their isn't anything worse in this world other than being lost, not believing in Jesus Christ. Those horrible actions in the world are all sins but all can be forgiven. If one dies lost without forgiveness then they will open their eye being in hell. Do you really want to be committed to God? Why do we all want things our way so bad that we reject Gods way? Gods way is of faith, things usually not seen. The reasons you don't want Gods way is because you love the world, yourself more than God. If you're saved, live it! Do you have a problem fornicating, cussing, drinking, opening your bible, attending church, doing what God says? Check your "salvation"! Mark 8:34 You must deny yourself and get ready to suffer if you're a Christian, saved. If one has a problem following God, they are probably not saved. One must deny themselves completely, daily, suffer and follow Christ. "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose." -Jim Elliot Mark 8:35 If one wants external life, they must let theirs go. If one could have everything they ever wanted from this world, money, love from others, fancy cars, large house, the best health, in the end of your life you die. None of those things will go with them. So in the end, what matters the most, the worldly needs or the eternal needs?
