Encouraging Patience
Galatians 6:7-10 (Part of the The Need For Christian Duties series).
Seems as if there is a great need for patience. Folks don't seem to want to wait anymore for just about everything. When we plant a garden we plant seeds, those seeds take time to grow. If one is patient then they should receive a great harvest.

There is a reaping whether it be a good harvest or bad. Depending on what is sowed depends on what is reaped. Consequences for sin is a harvest that can never be removed for the rest of ones life. We all have a choice to make whether they will do good or bad. Don't be deceived because the penalty for sin is great. Some of the leaders of our country are deceived. We can make laws and change them to try to make a persons live a certain way but none of these changes will ever lead to goodness. People no longer have the fear of God in their hearts therefore they live a life of worldliness. God holds your very breath and should be reverenced as such. For whatever reason God still has mercy for this country even though most have forgotten who He truly is.

No matter where you go in your life at least one of Gods people will be with you. Don't be deceived by what the world says. Just as in Noah's time, they mocked God and him as he built the ark. In the end, God sent the flood and only saved those that believed In Him, Noah's family.

Now if one plants a seed of corn then one expects a stalk of corn to grow from that seed. Why would anyone expect anything less about the choices of the way they live and sow life or death. There is a difference in knowing that you're doing wrong and continuing and not knowing. To know and do against it is called rebelling.

One can't live like they want to during the week and expect God to be worshipped on Sunday. So we should sow to the Spirit Monday thru Sunday and we will reap what we sow. How many struggle on Mondays to show your happy in your spirit? We should take every opportunity we get to uplift our fellow man especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. But, something holds us back and it's because we are humans and therefore we are sinners. We should fight against the sinful nature of our flesh striving to overcome it to uplift the name of Jesus.

If you act like, dress like, talk like and look like the world, then how is the world supposed to know that you're a Christian?

Seeds don't grow instantly, therefore don't give up. People usually don't come to Jesus instantly, don't give up on them! Keep planting the seeds of love and be patient.

Long Suffering But Not Ever Suffering
2 Peter 3:3-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God only promised one opportunity to be saved, only one time will He invite you. We should be thankful for the chastening that God does to us. The chastening indicates that He loves us and wants what's best for us in His image. God shows us patience over and over and yet He doesn't have to. There are times we as Christians choose to go against what God has told us to do. During those times of disobedience God is longsuffering to us. At times we seem to think that if we can't see Him then we won't get caught, just the same as a child acts away from their parents. But God is all knowing and can see everywhere and everything. During those times of disobedience there will come a time where Gods longsuffering will come to an end and He will draw a line in the sand. He will show up when you're least expecting Him and place a stopping point. If you choose to step over the line that He has drawn then you've forced Him to remove the problem. Just as a disobedient child and a loving parent. The child will be warned to obey but there will come a time when the child disobeys to the point that the parent must intervene and remove the child's pleasures. If you're a child of a God and are living in disobedience, it's no surprise when He deals with you. God is raising children and He is trying to grow us into His likeness. If you're walking thru your Christian life and you know God is chastening you, count it a blessing because you're one of His. Gods patiences does and will run out. Don't push Him till His patiences runs out on you.

God Is For You
Jeremiah 29:11 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Are you aware that Jesus loves you? God isn't confused. There is nothing that will cause God to stop living you. God knows each and every thought and is not surprised when things happen. The thoughts that God has for us are all good. Romans 8:28 We hold ourselves back because we think negatively about ourselves. At times we are ready to fear that God is against us so that we fail. We think that we do not deserve God. We allow guilt and regret to stop us in fear that God doesn't love us. Romans 8:37-39 Nothing can tear us away from the love that God has for us. It's never about what you've done that you think that is bad, it's about what God did for you. If God is for you, what could be against you? Stop and allow God to love you. Some may think that if their family didn't love them then how could anyone and even God love them. There is NOTHING you can do to cause God NOT o love you. It's impossible to make the God of love to stop loving you. John 14:27 His thoughts are always good for us and He gives us all peace. Gods love is unconditional. God isn't trying to take your life down, He is for you not against. 1 John 4:4 The love of God lives inside of us and this is a promise. How do you expect it to end? What do you think will happen when you leave? Gods love doesn't end when our lives end. God loves the sinner.

Chill Out! (Part 2)
Psalm 23:1-2 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We've all been through different things in our lives. But The Lord is still our Shepard. God feeds us what we need and when we need it, physically and spiritually. Sometimes the hard stuff was from God and not the devil. The color green is a reference to external or everlasting. People without God as their Shepard will do anything for peace and happiness.

"This Is Gonna Hurt Me Worse Than It's Gonna Hurt You"
Exodus 20:12 (Part of the God's Top Ten series).
Life brings forth experience and experience brings forth knowledge. If you can't act correctly in your earthly home, then you're not going to act correctly in your spiritual home. You should have a relationship with your parents. If you can't understand authority then it will follow you for the rest of your life. If you think it, your Heavenly Father knows about it. The promise to honoring your parents is that you will live longer and be blessed. Parents, you must love and chasten.
