|Galatians 6:7-10 (Part of the The Need For Christian Duties series).|
|Seems as if there is a great need for patience. Folks don't seem to want to wait anymore for just about everything. When we plant a garden we plant seeds, those seeds take time to grow. If one is patient then they should receive a great harvest.
There is a reaping whether it be a good harvest or bad. Depending on what is sowed depends on what is reaped. Consequences for sin is a harvest that can never be removed for the rest of ones life. We all have a choice to make whether they will do good or bad. Don't be deceived because the penalty for sin is great. Some of the leaders of our country are deceived. We can make laws and change them to try to make a persons live a certain way but none of these changes will ever lead to goodness. People no longer have the fear of God in their hearts therefore they live a life of worldliness. God holds your very breath and should be reverenced as such. For whatever reason God still has mercy for this country even though most have forgotten who He truly is.
No matter where you go in your life at least one of Gods people will be with you. Don't be deceived by what the world says. Just as in Noah's time, they mocked God and him as he built the ark. In the end, God sent the flood and only saved those that believed In Him, Noah's family.
Now if one plants a seed of corn then one expects a stalk of corn to grow from that seed. Why would anyone expect anything less about the choices of the way they live and sow life or death. There is a difference in knowing that you're doing wrong and continuing and not knowing. To know and do against it is called rebelling.
One can't live like they want to during the week and expect God to be worshipped on Sunday. So we should sow to the Spirit Monday thru Sunday and we will reap what we sow. How many struggle on Mondays to show your happy in your spirit? We should take every opportunity we get to uplift our fellow man especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. But, something holds us back and it's because we are humans and therefore we are sinners. We should fight against the sinful nature of our flesh striving to overcome it to uplift the name of Jesus.
If you act like, dress like, talk like and look like the world, then how is the world supposed to know that you're a Christian?
Seeds don't grow instantly, therefore don't give up. People usually don't come to Jesus instantly, don't give up on them! Keep planting the seeds of love and be patient.

|A Voice Above All Other|
|John 10:1-5 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).|
|God speaks to people in different ways. In Genesis you'll read how God spoke in the dreams of Joseph. Yet in Matthew 1:20-24; 2:13; 2:19; 2:22 we read where another Joseph was talked to in his dreams by God. However still today, God still speaks in many ways. Make sure when you think you hear God speak that it's of God. Gods made of wood, gold or stone will never speak back. Some are confused about Gods speech and expect Him to verbally speak in a loud voice to them. Some confuse His voice with things of this world. In the end, you WILL know when He speaks because His voice bares witness with your soul.
Have you ever thought about your kidneys functioned? How about your lungs when they expanded? Have you ever stopped to be thankful for those simple but very important things?
Not only does God speak to our mind but He also speaks to our hearts. Thru Gods speech to our hearts, conviction of sin is made therefore bringing forth repentance or Salvation. We should at all times pray without ceasing. Prayer is not just a one way speech but a two way conversation.
John 10:1-5 notice how the shepherd calls the sheep and they hear his voice and will only answer to his voice. If you're one of His then you know His voice and you should follow Him always.

|Unity In One|
|Amos 3:3 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).|
|We should come to the house of God in unity. If every member of the church were exactly like you how would it be? If there is not unity in the house of a God then it hinders the movement of God. Many people never gave up praying for others salvation. When you get to the house of God, get to your pew. Get to your place. The pastor knows your place and looks for you as do others. When you're not there it hinders. Come expecting when you go to the house of God. Pray for the service, pray for your brothers and sisters, pray for your pastor and pray for the lost to be saved. There is always somebody watching you, neighbors, friends, strangers, etc. Make sure the life you're living is a Godly life. Acts 3:7-8 God doesn't give you something on a trial basis, once He gives it, it's yours to keep. Money can not purchase what God wants to give you.|

|Wash-Up Before Worship|
|Leviticus 16:23-25 (Part of the Tabernacle, Covenant and a Priest series).|
|Before you can worship, you must repent. When you sin against God then you've trespassed against Him therefore you will not feel from Him.
Animals being sacrificed for the sins, blood flowing from the animals where their bodies were drained. God required afterwards that the priest MUST change their clothes and cleanse himself completely. The priest had to do this before he could worship God.
Some people think that sin is glamorous. They live their life as if nothing matters. In the end, their sin will be to their demise. Gal 3:27, Eph 4:22-24, 2 Cor 5:27 one has to repent in order to be one with Christ. Before one can be saved, God has to remove the sins, be forgiven.
Cor 15 there is a day coming that the mortal body will be removed before we can have a heavenly body. A heavenly body where we won't need to rest, feed or take care of any longer.
Most do not like to repent, saying sorry, admitting they've done something wrong. In order to have life with Christ, then you've got to let go of the old and grab the new.

|The Mercy Seat of God|
|Hebrews 9:3-5 (Part of the Tabernacle, Covenant and a Priest series).|
Ark of the Covenant
Inside the Ark
The tabernacle and its contents were all directing to something better to come. Don't confuse the burning incense smoke with the mercy seat of God. The burning incense was the prayers of the people interceding to God.
The ark was to contain particular items, a remnant of His promise. It was to be built a particular size and to have a lid, two cherubs and handles in order to carry it. It contained three items, mana. Mana was tried to be stored but it would spoil however this mana was to be stored without it spoiling. Just as today, God has only promised the hour in which you live and nothing more. The also contained a rod, a stick that was cut from a tree. This stick was dead but God made it to bloom showing that He could make something dead to be raised to life. A miracle that only God can perform. Christ has come to save us all from an eternity of death. The third and final item was the Ten Commandments, the Word of God.
Some people believe that if they found the Ark then they would have all the power in the world. However, the Ark is of no more once Jesus made a new way. Crossing the Jordan, the Ark held the water back. Marching around the walls of Jericho the Ark was there and thru the power of the Ark, the walls fell. At one point the Philistines stole the Ark and placed it in their "god's" temple but the next day the Ark destroyed their god. People could not touch the Ark just in the story of when the Ark was about to fall and someone stopped it by touching it and they were slain dead. Even though there was power in the Ark of the Covenant, there is much more power in God's Word, the bible. The bible contains all of the promises of God and His eternal life.
So what's so important about the box, the Ark? We know it's about the covenant or His promise but what else? It's His mercy seat, it's all about mercy. God provides mercy in that very time of need that we ALL can go to Him with our needs of mercy. Romans 3:23 God didn't owe us anything for we had no right to God. But, He has called to us because He loves us.
