Will You Believe In Jesus Christ
John 6:53-59 (Part of the Communion Services series).
Jesus was God in the flesh. Many don't want to accept the fact that Jesus is God in the flesh. They view Him as just a simple man. Jesus Christ is part of the third part of the Godhead. Unless you accept Jesus Christ as whom He is, you may have NO part of Him. All one has to do is just believe. The communion service is just a representation of the broken flesh and bitter blood of Jesus Christ. When one partakes of the bread and wine they are saying that they accept Christ as being the Son of God. The only restrictions that we as our church has on the communion is that one must be born again to partake of it. Jesus was born of a virgin, He walked sinless on earth and He was sacrificed for our sins. There has been NO other person that's done that. It's simple, one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the only way to Salvation.
Preached by Bruce Whitehead on June 3, 2018 (Sunday Evening).
A Great Mandate
Jude 1:17-25 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Towards the end of time there will be people that will infiltrate the church and will mock the Word of God. There are people that hate the church of Jesus Christ. How do we deal with those? We should be aware of those evils. We might be fooled by man but God is not and never has been. We Christians can not compromise the truth. It doesn't matter how far a person has walked in sin, we are to love them. Col 2:7 We must be built up in the faith, rooted into God. We must pray into the Holy Ghost. We must also keep ourselves in the love of God. We must live purposeful for God. When you keep yourself with God, you will see His mercies work. When you see His mercies working in others, some will simply need love while others will need to be saved by fear. We shouldn't worry if it's time to witness to someone.

In the Middle
1 John 5:6-8 (Part of the Does He Abide Within? series).
Through Jesus is the only way of salvation. Do you really believe that this man called Jesus is the Son of God? Do you realize that our time, the year, is based on Jesus's birth and death? John the Baptist came from water only but Jesus didn't come from water only but by blood as well. There is nothing in the world that will define truth like Jesus Christ. There are three that bear witness of the Son of God. The Father is the first that bears witness. During the baptism of Jesus, His Father spoke down and said that Jesus was His son. God also confirmed Jesus during the transfiguration. The Word also declares Jesus as God in the flesh. The Spirit also confirms Jesus as the son of God. The Holy Spirit came down and caused Mary to be pregnant for the birth of Christ. Also during the baptism of Jesus, the Spirit of God came down and rested upon Jesus to declare that He was His son. Just as the declared Gods son, Jesus Christ there are also three in earth that bear witness with Him. The spirit which are things that can not be touched but are real, our soul, feelings, etc. if you have been saved, you have the Spirit of God in you. Jesus also had the spirit during His death as He gave up the Ghost. Just as Jesus gave up the spirit, we will as well at our death and it will go back to God. The water, baptism, also bears witness here on earth. Being baptized will not get you into heaven but it's important as an outward declaring of Christ. The last is the blood because it was shed on earth. The blood was shed because without it being shed there is no remission of sin. It also washes away our sins during salvation because no one and nothing else's blood can do this. Just as during the last supper, the wine was used to represent His blood.
