Always In Love
Jude 1:17-25 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We live in a time where people call wrong right and the right wrong. God is always in control no matter how hard or easy life is. If you don't the Spirit of Christ then you are lost in darkness. If one lives in a life thinking that it's us against them, then one has missed the mark. A Christian adversary is not against a person or a political agenda, it's a spiritual battle against Satan and his demons. Jesus Christ came to earth to give His body as a sacrifice for ALL sinners. One only has to believe in Him in order to be saved. We as Christians are not in the business of saving the lost. There will be some that will not be saved only by their choice. It's not Gods will that they die lost. The very thing that allowed one to be saved is a Holy Faith. Without faith it's impossible to serve God. No matter what we have to go through down here on earth, Gods love and our Holy faith will bring us through anything. When the time comes when it gets hard we should pray in the Holy Ghost. We should keep ourselves in the love of God. We can't keep ourselves saved, God does that part but we are to keep ourselves as clean as possible. We are to strive to stay with God and not waver, stay in love with God. When one falls in love with someone they surrender to the other and do whatever it takes to stay with them. Some are weak spiritually and we are to help those, love them, have compassion on them. We should know the difference between weak and willful. We should help the weak through compassion to get them stronger in the Lord. None of us are exempt of being weak. Some must hear that God controls their life and if they don't live for God, He will take full control. Jude 1:24, if you've ever wondered if salvation is eternal or can ever be wavering.

Called, Preserved and Sanctified
Jude 1:1-2 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God became a servant to us when He came to earth in the form of a man. How many go out into the world and take on the Christian attitude of truly being a servant? The greatest in the kingdom of God is the servant. We should love one another as Christ loves us. We live in a battle every day. We must be servants of God, willing to work and fight for His glory. Once one has become employed they must do the job. Every one of us are vessels unto God. So who are you? We are the called. Titus 2:11 Only a few will believe even though all are called. You're not here because you decided to, you're here because He called you. You're not saved because you seemed after Jesus, you're saved because He went search for you. Are you called by God? To be a servant you must not have pride in your life because you must lower yourself before others. An invitation must be given before your allowed to come in. Have you been sealed by God? In order to be preserved one must cover it completely. Something that's preserved can't go bad. Now the earthly flesh goes bad over time and will eventually turn back to dirt, but the inward man, the soul will last forever. Some question eternal salvation but it's very clear. Either what Jesus said was truth or it's not. The promise is not based on our ability but His. Being preserved means you are forever in and the world comes out of you, you are forever changed. Being called is an event. Sanctification is an ongoing process of change where God is making us more like Him. He is trying to make the spiritual man on the inside more than the earthly man on the outside. Trying to do things on your own will never work out without Gods work through sanctification. In order for a fruit tree to bare more fruit it must be trimmed and pruned. It doesn't feel good to be pruned and trimmed but the end result is more fruit, better fruit.

Itching Ears & Counterfeit Money (Part 1)
2 Peter 2:1-3 (Part of the 2 Peter 2 series).
Whether you are accepting or not to the Word, it will always go out. We should always be aware that man should not be listened to over God. People have always wanted an easy solution. There is not another gospel other than that of Jesus Christ. We should stand and be faithful to the truth of God. We are living in a world where people look at the truth as an infringement on their lives. Anyone can look at the world and see that their was a designer. People do not like God because it clashes with their lifestyle. People say they want the truth but they really don't, they only want what they want, something that tickles their ears. There will be consequences to avoiding God's Word. Personal opinions and agendas simply do not matter when it comes to God's. God has not changed and will not change. Living amongst us today are also false prophets that have false motives, messages and beliefs. There have always been and always will be those that want to teach false teaching. Those are the enemies of God and they can not be battled with our flesh but only in prayer. What motivates false teachers is greed. God's will is that no one should parish in the end. Those that are unlearned in Gods Word and they will be preyed upon by the false teachers. God has never promised wealth, health and prosperity. Not only are there false teachers but there teaching are also false. Anything that doesn't declare that God is the only god then it's a false message. Unbelief is the only thing that will keep anyone out of heaven. The false teachers also have false motives. Truth can be used as a disguise for a lie. How many people are tricked by someone saying it's ok because this scripture says one thing so it must be ok. We don't have to know all the lies, only the truth. To find counterfeit money one doesn't study the counterfeiters, they study the real money. The true definition of truth means that there can be only one truth. All of the others are false. By definition God is love but God has also declared what is a sin and He hates sin. God has not changed His mind on what is sin. Are we living in a time such as these? In the end we will al be judged, not by someone else but by God's Word the Holy Bible. Buddha can't help you, Mary can't help you, Money won't buy your way in, Grandparents salvation or church going won't help, Church attendance won't help, Allah won't help, etc. Only the truth, Jesus Christ, living God will help you on judgement.

Being an Eyewitness (Part 6)
2 Peter 1:16-21 (Part of the 2 Peter 1 series).
Everyone has opinions but when it come to God's, ours simply do not matter. Some of us had great examples of what a Christian was to be but that doesn't mean they were gospel. Just because the preacher says it doesn't mean it's the truth. Only the gospel, the Word of God is the truth. In biblical times there were eyewitnesses that seen Jesus perform. Today we only have God's spirit that lives inside us that bares witness. One can only speak about their own experience with Christ. One does not know another's experience or if there ever was one. The one thing that a saved person can not do is to deny Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is not just a fable or a story that's shared, it the gospel and it's the only way that you can be saved. If you are not positive that a pastor is not saved, you better find another one. If they are not saved how can they know what they are preaching? Just because a person has the worldly teaching or a degree doesn't mean they have been saved by God. The bible is not simply a letter or a newspaper, it's a living, breathing, book of life. How is the Word of God meaningful to you? Because God has declared us all a sinner and a sinner will live eternally in hell unless they are saved. In the last days people will want teachers to simply entertainment them, not wanting to be told they are wrong.
Preached by Tommy Boring on December 20, 2015 (Sunday Morning).
Gods Not Going to Kick the Door In
Revelation 3:20-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God doesn't beat on the door to get your attention. God will not drag you to the altar. God wants you to open the door, wants you to worship because you love Him. Just because you're a church member doesn't mean that you are automatically going to heaven. Jesus was so stressed and troubled that He sweat drops of blood. They then beat Jesus 99 times and was not recognized. Then they plucked out his beard. They then forced Him to carry a cross through the town upon a hill. At this point they nailed him to the cross in order for him to hang with His own weight. Even in the state that Jesus was in, He still loved the thief next to Him and even those around by saying forgive them. The entire earth knew that Jesus was the Christ. We live in a world today that people will live how they feel what is right in their own eyes. Some say they want some big proof from God that He's real. He has already done that, time and time again. What more do you want Him to do? We should love God with everything in our heart. Why are you here? Why do you serve Him? How long has it been since you've sat with God and communed with Him? God will not force you to worship Him.
Preached by Bruce Whitehead on April 26, 2015 (Sunday Morning).
