Weapons In The War
2 Corinthians 10:1-5 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
A stronghold is something that has a hold of one that is strong. Addictions, fear, doubt and a lack of faith are all strongholds. Jesus can help you only if you let Him. Some say that we use Jesus as a crutch but the truth is, we should. We should depend on Him with anything and everything from the largest to the smallest things in life. Now we as humans do not have the ability to break a stronghold but we know the one that can.

The war against the strongholds are not and will not be the carnal objects. Most that want help want it instantly which they will turn to drugs, medication and alcohol. The carnal objects are temporary just covering up the strongholds. So how do we fight against the strongholds?

Eph 6:14-17 these items are spiritual items, they can't be physically seen.

If you want out of the stronghold then ask God to have it removed but you must be ready AND willing. If we believe that God can remove the strongholds then why are they still in our lives? Because we think we can fix it ourselves. One problem is that non-spiritual people are thinking they can be cured of their stronghold thru God. The unsaved can't speak spiritually because they do not have the spirit of God in them. Now if you're born again then you have a power within you that is able to remove the strongholds. The second problem is that the saved try to fix it with fleshly fixes. The saved should be praying for the strongholds to be removed from others lives. If you're one of the ones that try to fix the problems yourself then you'll walk around worrying yourself to a literal death.

Where is the Change?
Romans 8:1-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Those that have been born again can not live in sin without living in unhappiness. Measure the things in your life, either they are for or against God. God is the god of love but He also is the god of wrath. One can play the game acting as if you are saved, but in the end God will know the truth of your salvation but it will be too late. Those that are His children will bare fruit. If you don't know what conviction of sin is then you've not been saved. People that want the world are likely lost. Haven't been to church in 50 years but yet you claim to be saved. If you are saved there is something in you that will tell you not to sin. Either you're lost or you're saved. Being on a church membership will not get you saved. If there is nothing in you that causes a constant warfare between what is right and wrong, you are lost.

Babes in Christ
1 Corinthians 3:1-8 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Every family has their own problems and issues. This is because we are humans, being carnal. As long as we live here on this earth we will always be challenged. God will challenge those that are His. He's forever teaching those to grow. Many wear the Christian name tag but are not of Christ. Those people may fool others but you can't fool God for He knows if you've been saved and one of His or not. Those that walk after His Spirit will not fall for the worldly sins and the things of the flesh. The world and God needs mature Christians. Being saved doesn't mean that your path and walk will be easy, in-fact it's the opposite and is a hard battle. Are you allowing God to grow you? Don't let your flesh/mind dictate what your walk will be, pushing God away. Everyday we influence people around us. It's up to a grown-up Christian to teach those that are around us. Are you living committed to God? God's not just concerned about the obvious categorized sins like drugs, alcohol or immoral sex, He's concerned about a Christians witness and growth. Everyday we must decide what we will eat from the table of Christ. Will be grow up and eat the meat or will we continue to drink the milk? God is not a negotiator nor a bargainer. He left His word in black and white and we are responsible for it.
