Will You Believe In Jesus Christ
John 6:53-59 (Part of the Communion Services series).
Jesus was God in the flesh. Many don't want to accept the fact that Jesus is God in the flesh. They view Him as just a simple man. Jesus Christ is part of the third part of the Godhead. Unless you accept Jesus Christ as whom He is, you may have NO part of Him. All one has to do is just believe. The communion service is just a representation of the broken flesh and bitter blood of Jesus Christ. When one partakes of the bread and wine they are saying that they accept Christ as being the Son of God. The only restrictions that we as our church has on the communion is that one must be born again to partake of it. Jesus was born of a virgin, He walked sinless on earth and He was sacrificed for our sins. There has been NO other person that's done that. It's simple, one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the only way to Salvation.
Preached by Bruce Whitehead on June 3, 2018 (Sunday Evening).
Whosoever Will
John 3:16-17 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Could you take a beating like Christ did for your children or someone you love dearly? Could you really? Flesh being torn from your body and never make a sound.

Repeating a prayer from anyone doesn't make one saved. If there is no pull, knock on your hearts door from Jesus then you can't be saved. Jesus must invite one first before you're lost, convicted of sin and then a choice is made to be saved or answer His invitation.

No one is promised another second to live. Your next step might not be made. Your next breath may not come. Are you prepared to meet God? Once you've been saved, you'll not need to be saved again. Just as the woman at the well, Jesus gave her salvation therefore she would never thirst again.

We as parents should be teaching in a godly way always pointing them back up to God. God will never leave them and God will always be there when we can't. We will always fail no matter how hard we try. Christ is always there and will never forsake His children.

God doesn't prepare a place for you and your spouse, you and your friend. God said He is preparing a place for YOU, singular person, just for you. Therefore the choice is up to you if you want that place. No other person can make that choice for you.

Preached by Brian Kelso on October 15, 2017 (Sunday Morning).
If You Knew the Gift of God
John 4:5-26 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Do you know the gift of God. As we approach the season of giving gifts there is a gift that is far greater than any other gift. The scripture tells us that not all will be saved but we do not know whom will, so we continue to share Jesus. There is a great gratitude to those that have raised their children in a church and taught Christ. The cost of the greatest gift is invaluable. The things of this world will all pass away at some point or another. The gift of Christ is something that can be shared without it degrading in value or strength. We can't give it away but only share. It's not meant to be hidden but to be shared. Christ will not turn you away if you want His gift. The younger one is the easier it is to comprehend the salvation of God. The older one gets the more corrupt their mind gets pushing them further away from Christ. The gift is also eternal. The fact is that in the end we will all die but if one has accepted the gift of God then those will live forever with Christ. The best is yet to come when it comes to Christ's gift. Is there anyone that can stop death? Is there anyone that knows when they will take their last breath? Everyone is searching for hope, joy and happiness and the ability to live forever. All of those things are available thru the gift of God. Once you accept the gift of God, it can never be taken away from you. We have many gifts on the world but any and all of those things can be removed and taken from you, even your mind and thoughts within. Not even Satan himself can take the gift of God away from anyone. Do you have the gift from God? In order to receive the gift it must first be offered. One can't simple walk into a store and take what we want without purchasing, but if someone has already purchased it and offers it to you for free, they must ask you to take it freely. Are you willing to accept the gift of God?
Preached by Tommy Boring on November 13, 2016 (Sunday Morning).
The Sacred Communion
John 6:44-58 (Part of the Communion Services series).
All the physical pain that Jesus Christ went through was nothing compared to the separation between Him and His Father. Communion is a Holy right and should not be taken lightly. Only the saved should take part in the communion as those without salvation will be judged. If you have sin or an ought between you and someone else, you should repent of it prior to the communion service. God wants to commune with us but sin keeps Him from doing so. Jesus came down from Heaven being equal with God to perform an act lower than a slave. He washed His disciples feet humbling Himself to show His love towards them.
Preached by Matthew Adams on June 4, 2016 (Communion).
He Took the Time To Pray
John 17:1-26 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We were the very reason Jesus Christ gave His life for. Jesus' last public prayer was for His disciples and for all of us. He seen your need of a savior and gave His life as a sacrifice.
Preached by Bruce Whitehead on March 23, 2016 (Wednesday).
