Jesus Kept His Scars
John 20:19-29 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
We read that when we as believers in Christ die, we are to receive a new body. A glorified body that is without blemish. However, in this reading we see that Jesus died and went to Heaven. He then returned and kept the scars of His death. There are two things about scars. One type of scar is physical yet others are hidden. Scars are reminders of former hurts. Most physical scars when they begin came with a great deal of pain. Some scars are by accidents and others are on purpose. Either way, they are a reminder of things that were in the past. Physical scars, the pain is also physical and that pain usually goes away in time. Internal scars are things that are hidden but cause one to suffer usually a long time. Physical scars are created quickly, but the hurt also quickly goes away. Internal scars if left alone will fester and begin to grow into a horrible infection. Sometimes these scars can be hidden very well with a smile or laughter. These scars are tied to a memory that never been taken care of. God is able to take those memories. He is able to take care of them in the blink of an eye. Sometimes He will take care of them but will require you to walk a down path of experiences in order for you to be healed. You wound will either take you or break you. If you allow the wound to fester and grow then you will have to make a choice between living and asking God to be the doctor to that wound or giving into the devil and end your life. Don’t let the devil have control of your life and wound you more. Hebrews 4:15; Don’t ever think that Jesus doesn’t know what suffering you’re going thru. Jesus had His own father turn His back on Him. Jesus was sinless up until His death. He took upon Himself ALL the sins of the world from then until the end of time.

Doctrine of Justification
Romans 5:1-20 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Doctrine of Justification There is nothing other than faith where we are justified. One can’t get to God unless one is justified. Justification is the purpose to make one righteous in the sight of God. Sin excludes humans from God. Justified, just if I’d never sinned. Romans 4:20-25, God took your sin and swapped it with Jesus’ righteousness. There are entire religions that are founded on the exact opposite as Romans 4:20-25. If you couldn’t earn being justified, how could you do something that removed your justification? The most important question, do you know if you’ve been born again? We get three things thru justification. We get peace with God. If you are a sinner then you are an enemy of His and you by choosing not to love His son have chosen to live In Hell for eternity. We have grace. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t from grace. We have all the grace we can handle by faith thru Jesus Christ. Imagine a homeless person that was brought into a mansion, cleaned up , fed, given a bed to sleep in, and a place to stay in peace. All of this was simply given without warrant. The man didn’t deserve it and never did anything to deserve it. This is grace. We have Hope. Did you know that if you take away hope from a prisoner, they will die? They have nothing to live for. If one has been born again then you have the hope in what’s yet to come. The better day that coming when no more suffering, no more sin, heartache, etc. Romans 5:5

Through The Fire
Daniel 3:8-30 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Three things we see in this story. 1. They would not bow. There will be things in your life that you will have to make a choice to either take a stand for God or bow to the enemy. 2. They wouldn’t budge. Just because you might work for God every second of the day doesn’t mean that others will see Him in you. Just keep working. 3. They wouldn’t burn. Sometimes we have to go thru the fire before others will see God thru you. They may not see you when you won’t bow to other gods, will stand your ground and not budge, but when you go thru the fire for Christ then they will surely see God thru it. If you are right now in the middle of a fire, be faithful to God. He will go with you thru it all and sometimes it takes the fires in life to prove to others. Press on.

Do You Believe In God?
John 3:1-22 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
In this story we see that Jesus knew the condition of Nicodemus’ heart. He knew what was going to happen and how it was going to end. Nicodemus knew God but he didn’t believe on Jesus. This happens in todays time all over. Many of people know there is a god and will boldly claim they know god or even Jesus. But they don’t know them thru a personal relationship of salvation. The spirit has to be manifest in you. You can’t be born again unless you’ve been called by the spirit of God. When Jesus for you to be saved, you will more than likely remember the time and quit possibly the place. Also in most times, you will not know when it’s coming and you won’t know when it will leave. It’s just like the breeze that blows. You can’t see it and you don’t know where it comes from. Sometimes the spirit of God has to challenge us. It has to do this because it keeps us in check. There are preachers standing in pulpits trying their best to show you who the Son of God is and yet people sit and will not know. God loved us so much that He sent His only son to this world. He wasn’t sent to condemn the world. Those that don’t believe condemn themselves. All we would have to do is to believe in Him. Why don’t people want to believe in Jesus? Because it’s natural for people to love evil. People do things usually because they want something in return, greed. It’s easy to say and to think there is a god. It’s easy to say that you’re a good person. If God is all loving then He won’t send you to Hell. If you’re one of those that says that, then your deeds are evil and you can’t admit that they are. If you choose that at the time of your death then you have made your own decision to live in Hell for eternity. Christ came and died for you because He loves you. God made a way of escape and you must choose it in order to go to Heaven. Salvation is a personal thing. The day that He convicts you of your sins, it becomes personal. He comes to you and speaks to you. You may have attended church all your life and never seen Jesus as being lifted up. This might be your time, it might be that Jesus is calling your name.

Who's Our Enemy?
Luke 22:31-32 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Part of winning a battle is understanding your enemy. When it comes to the word of God, one has to be willing to accept it. First and foremost, God knows our enemy. He knows what he’s doing and when he’s going to do it. We need to know the enemy in order to fight against the enemy. As we know about Job, he had a hedge built around him that God had placed to keep the enemy away. As a Christian, you have a God built hedge around you. Now you can play and tease with the devil and he will try his best to destroy you and if you let him, he will. In Genesis, we see that the devil was present. Satan is NOT a god but a created being. He is an angel and nothing more. He was created therefore he can be controlled by God. Now Lucifer himself is probably not messing with you. He is not a god and therefore can not be in multiple places at the same time, omnipresent. He also can not read your mind. Now just as God, he has many angels to “work” for him, with him. Satan is a fallen angel and he also took a bunch of angels with him. John 13:2 - Destroy The devil wants everyone dead. He can take ahold of a lost persons heart and cause them to do ungodly things only to leave them dead. 2 Cor 11:14 - Deceiver The devil can transform into a false being to fool others to think he is something that he is not. John 8:44 - Liar The devil is a liar. He is unable to speak the truth unless it’s riddled with lies. He is the father of lies. One could say they would never believe a lie from the devil. Have you ever been afraid? Fear is a lie from the devil. Simple yet effective. John 10:10 - Steal, Kill, and Destroy So can the devil destroy a believer? Only if God allows it. Satan is a destroyer and he certainly wants to destroy you. In our nation, opiate addiction is the highest killer. Luke 8:12 - Thief Satan also wants to steal Gods love from the lost. When the word of God is presented, satan will steal away the word if it’s not consumed. 2 Cor 4:4 - Blinder Think about it, we teach in schools that it took the world billions of years to be created. We evolved from monkeys or evolved from something. Satan has removed the Creator from our children’s learning. We are accept every lifestyle due to tolerance, love everyone, that what Jesus taught. Truth is, it’s a lie. 2 Cor 12:7 - Buffet Believers Now the devil constantly beats on the gate at the hedge and all you’ve got to do is open the door. We are constantly bombarded with Satan daily throughout our lives thru media and others. It’s a choice if we allow or let that in. Rev 20, Rev 20:10 - Destiny We see in the end Satan and his demons will all be destroyed. They will be tormented just the same as those unbelievers that rejected Christ, forever and ever for eternity. 1 John 3:8, Luke 11:23 Who’s side are you on? There is ONLY two sides. You’re either on Satans side or Gods side. Either your born again or lost. To the believers. Eph 4:26-27 Don’t give the devil any room to win or get in. You want problems in your life, let him in. James 4:7 Resist the devil and he will flee. Eph 6:11-18 We know we are gonna be in a battle with the devils, therefore go ahead and prepare yourselves.
