Who Is That God?
Daniel 3:16-18 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
God is able to deliver from anything. In this story we see these three mean had already made up their minds on what they were going to do. We are prone to worry and fear those things that we can’t control. Rest assured that when it’s out of our control, it’s always in Gods control. Pharaoh thought he had Moses and his people but God had other plans. When they came to their brick wall of water, God rolled the water back and they all walked on dry ground, not muddy. Not only did they cross on dry ground but when each and everyone of them were safe, God closed the water back stopping Pharaoh and his army.

Through The Fire
Daniel 3:8-30 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Three things we see in this story. 1. They would not bow. There will be things in your life that you will have to make a choice to either take a stand for God or bow to the enemy. 2. They wouldn’t budge. Just because you might work for God every second of the day doesn’t mean that others will see Him in you. Just keep working. 3. They wouldn’t burn. Sometimes we have to go thru the fire before others will see God thru you. They may not see you when you won’t bow to other gods, will stand your ground and not budge, but when you go thru the fire for Christ then they will surely see God thru it. If you are right now in the middle of a fire, be faithful to God. He will go with you thru it all and sometimes it takes the fires in life to prove to others. Press on.

Our Lifeline, Prayer
Daniel 6:1-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
While examining yourself, how often do you pray to God? Churches often have a revival once or twice a year but, while these revivals are good they do not last. We should have an internal revival daily within ourselves. Our human flesh does not want to humble itself to God. Most of the times we find ourselves on top of the mountain and not praying. We all need God on the mountain tops the same as in the valleys. How do you help people see the need they need? It's hard enough to see it in ourselves. Often in our lives the things around us are brought upon by disasters that happen around us. Most Wednesday night services were started because of the wars our country were in to pray for our loved ones and the countries safety. What's to be expected if we fully give ourselves to prayer? You may not be able to do a lot of things but the one thing that each and every person can do is pray. Do you truly care for the people around you? We must be honest when it comes to the works that we should be doing. We often say, "that's not my job", "they're not my family", etc. There have been great revivals in history. Simple men standing and proclaiming God to hundreds if not millions of lost and saved alike. Great revivals are not dictated on the time they were because great revivals have been going on since biblical times.

Where Is Your Faith? (Part 2)
Daniel 3:16-30 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
There are things about this world that it's not for God. There are those today that are told to deny their God and worship another God and if they don't death comes to them quickly. One shouldn't be a fool to those things in this world because we have been warned of those tests. One should make their mind up right now in whom they are going to serve no matter the circumstance. Just as the three men in Dan 3:16-30, they knew what was coming because they could watch the man made god being built. What kind of faith does it take to stand against a false god? The size of the faith is not the issue, it's the God behind it.

They were convinced, confidence and committed. They were also respectful in their attitude. Three were put in the furnace but four was seen. When they were called back out, three came out leaving the fourth one in the fire. In the time of your troubles, fiery times, God will be with you.

The world wants nothing to do with God . They try every way possible to remove Him each and every day. The bible is not just for Sunday's, it's also not just emergencies. Owners manuals are given out in order to know how to operate things just as the bible was given to know how to live and worship God.

Will You Wait For A Second Chance?
Daniel 4:28-30 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Daniel knew that God could help him but ahead had to ask first, he had to do something first. All of our lives are incomplete and unfinished. When something comes together and you feel as if everything is going good for you, don't slip up and think YOU got yourself there. God is the only one that could get you to the place that you're in with His mighty blessings. King Nebuchadnezzar had to be changed from the inside out in order for him to eat the grass as like a cow. The king was warned and told to change but he decided to not hear that. Will you make that same choice? You're not promised like the king, seven years to think about it. One time is all that God said He would call your name. One of the lies from the devil is, "if Jesus could do just this one thing". Jesus did it all on the cross for your sins. No amount of miracles or healing can prove His love or to change your mind. Repentance postponed is a ticket to Hell.
Preached by Steve Howard on June 18, 2017 (Sunday Evening).
