Where There’s Smoke, There Should Be Fire (Exodus 19:18)

Part of the Revival 2019 series, preached at a Revival service

There are people today trying to live their life as a Christian but they are simply making smoke. In the time of Moses the magicians were able to “copy” Aaron and Gods works up until a certain point. They were able to fool others up until God proved them wrong and outdid them.

Many of churches today have a building, a sign, a name, songs and even a designated preacher but they lack one thing and that’s the fire of God.

Solomon built an altar unto God because he knew He needed to worship God. Solomon was ready to worship. We should attend church to ready before we arrive not after or during.

What is the fire? John the Baptist said it the best. He said there is one that comes after him that will baptize you with fire and the Holy Ghost.
