How Do You Stand? (Philippians 4:1)

Harrison Hill, March 10, 2019
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

The first problem with folks that can’t stand is that they stand from afar. They don’t want to be on the front line. They don’t want the conflict. They just want to follow and not take a lead role. Some simply wish to not be identified.

We often don’t stand because we don’t ask for help. I order to ask for help one must become humble. Usually that requires one to repent, ask for forgiveness. God says the only thing we have to do is to ask.

How long do we have to stand? We must stand as long as we are living. God is always there to help to get to the reward.

How do we stand? There will come a day in your life when you’ll have to stand on the Word of God. No matter what comes against you, stand with Jesus.
