Power of God = Faith (John 1:10-13)Tommy Boring, February 21, 2018
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Wednesday service
God in the form of man, Jesus came to earth and yet the people rejected Him. The only truth that's ever been is Jesus Christ.
Salvation is not about you but about Christ. Testimonies are proof of His power.
Gal 3:26, Eph 2:8, Eph 4:7 the power is a gift by God. We as humans have very little faith. Rom 12:3 we are granted just a measure or faith. Heb 11:6 if you really want Jesus Christ in your life you can seek Him. The gift of Christ is the measure of faith in order to believe. If we only have the faith the size of a mustard seed we could tell the mountain to move.
The problem is that once Christ gives them the measure of faith they make a choice to walk away from it. Repeating a prayer will not save a person.
Eph 2:8 we are saved by grace THRU faith. Faith is the gift from God. Rom 10:8
Titus 2:11, before anyone dies Christ will invite them to be saved, giving them the faith to believe. If they reject Christ then they've made their decision to live in Hell.

10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
