What Do You Do With Christ? (Matthew 11:20-24)Steve Howard, June 1, 2016
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Wednesday service
Are you affected by Christ, the Word of God? Do you actively ask folks if they've been saved? Our world that we live in today is just as sinful as it was in Sodom's time. Sin is sin no matter the type whether it be murder, homosexuality or a lie. Conflict is a problem that causes us to see for a remedy or a solution. Make sure you're living your serving God and doing His will. We don't have to be a rich person, works do not help and who you're related to in order to be saved. Never forget who saved you. Never forget where you were pulled from and saved from. We know that the world is quickly falling away from Christ but don't be discouraged. We also know that this has to happen prior to the second coming of Christ. It also means that we as Christians should not stop working for Christ. We should not look at others and feel as if they get away with everything. God will judge them just the same as you. If you think that you are only hurting yourself or its my life, you're wrong. Your body is a temple and God lives inside the temple therefore you're destroying God Himself. Jesus did die for everyone but not for all, only the ones that would accept Him as their personal savior. America today has so many idols that they quickly become bored. Children quickly become bored when they obviously have many, many things to do. Do you feel like you can't share your salvation? That lost person that you hate is so loved by Christ. The least you could do for that person is to share Jesus Christ with them. Jesus is a conflict and always has been.

20Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: 21Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
