How Much Proof Do You Need? (1 Corinthians 2:7-12, John 3:8)Tommy Boring, January 27, 2016
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Wednesday service
So many want to see, touch, physically feel God before they will believe in Him. All they have to do is simply look around to see that there is a creator. One can't just think that it was an accident or just by chance the creation was made. There are people that can experience the wind and know that it's the wind even though one can't see it. The evidence of the wind is proof that it's there. The lost is looking for at the saved for evidence of God. Darwin's theory is just that, a theory. There is no proof that a monkey became a man. There are still monkeys and still humans and none of the monkeys have turn into a human in anyone lifetime. Those that are saved know that God is real because they have felt Him. His Spirit bares witness to ours if you're saved. So who says they're is no God? Only a fool can say they're is no God and worship something is isn't there. The only thing that will send you to hell is the unbelief of God.

1 Corinthians 2:7-12
7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (KJV)
8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (KJV)
