Never Give Up (2 Corinthians 4:6-10)Tommy Boring, September 9, 2015
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Wednesday service
Religion will not change you, it will corrupt you. You must be born again to experience His love. Going through the motions is simply going through the motions. There is no other way to heaven than to be born again. When God saves you, He doesn't save the outward being, the flesh. You may be the most beautiful looking person in the world but the flesh will go back to the dust of the earth when you die. The closer you get to God, the less you'll worry about the flesh. How many hours to we waste feeding the flesh that has nothing to do with God? We are troubled on every side because we live in the flesh. So how do we live without stress? We must turn to the inward, God.

2 Corinthians 4:6-10
6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. (KJV)
