Stick To It! (Psalm 119:25-32)Tommy Boring, August 30, 2015
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Sunday Evening service
There are times when one feels like they are closer to the dust of the earth than the height of the sky. We are down and depressed and feel worthless. But we should call on God to lift us up and it will if we ask. We should always confess our sins to God and ask for forgiveness. We should stay teachable before God. Some can remember entire songs, poems and even quotes but if we can't remember the bible there is a problem in our life. We should have a desire to be taught by God and to surrender to Him. We should ask God to remove the lies from our minds. The lies that the enemy whispers to us and we believe them. We are all liars. If we don't lie to others we often lie to ourselves. There comes a time when you'll have to chose your path and commit to it.

25My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. 26I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. 27Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. 28My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. 29Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously. 30I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. 31I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame. 32I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
