It's All or Nothing (1 John 2:15-17)Tommy Boring, September 14, 2014
Part of the Does He Abide Within? series, preached at a Sunday Evening service
How many love the world more than you love God. What does it matter if you died and went to hell? The world has a lot to offer. There are those that are trading their testimonies for the things of the world. There are people all over claiming to be Christians but love the world and have never been saved. Think about where you desires are. Do you really love Jesus or would you rather be out doing something else? If what you want revolves and is all about you, then it's not about God. All of the things that you do in the flesh, doesn't really matter at all. Are you just doing the "church thing"? God wants all of you not just some of you.

1 John 2:15-17
15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV)
