Who's Banner Are You Under? (Psalm 60:4)

Tommy BoringTommy Boring, June 22, 2014
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Do you live under the banner of Jesus Christ? Some want to live out on their own and doing their own thing, but there are consequences to those things. Psalm 20: Some attend church because they've said they were saved but the truth is that it's only a verbal statement and hasn't been a spiritual statement. Insignias have always been used to determine who is who. God is not about a nationality. God is a god of everything. How would you describe Gods love? Gods banner is an umbrella of love. If you don't know Him then you are living out of His protection. Those that love Him they would keep His commandments, follow Him and die out of themselves. People love to because they feel God owes them something. Isaiah 11:10 The purpose of a banner, flag, insignia is not to worship those things, it's to represent unity. One can claim a religion and wave the Christian flag all one wants but that doesn't make one anymore Christian than the next. What unites us? What unites you?
