Everyone Wants To Be Blessed (Psalm 128:1-6)Tommy Boring, May 28, 2014
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Wednesday service
When we talk about being blessed we want to tie it with works. To be blessed you must fear The Lord. The first key to fear God is to reverence Him. The problem today is that people do not fear God. Fear means to honor, reverence and to love. Faith is also a component of the fear of God. God controls your very being, your breath. He gives life and takes life. God wants to bless us all but if we do not fear Him, He will not bless us.if you want to be blessed, then stop doing what YOU want to do and start following what a God has told you to do. Blessings do not come from money. Psalm 119:35 Reverence God to the point that you tell God to MAKE you do it. If you fear God and do what He has asked, He will provide your food and you will be happy and it will be good for you. If you fear God and do what He said, your wife will be blessed and your children will be blessed as well. The church will also be blessed and bless you as well as your community. God will also bless you through the years through your grandchildren.

1Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. 2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. 5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. 6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
