This Big Light Of Mine (1 John 1:5, Matthew 5:14-16)

Tommy BoringTommy Boring, February 13, 2013
Part of the Miscellaneous series, preached at a Wednesday service

God is light and He will always be the light. There is no substitute of God light. When God comes on the scene, darkness has to flee. The Light of God can not be extinguished. Once you are saved, the light of God lives inside, therefore running the darkness out forever. We might foul up in the flesh but our soul is forever His if we are saved. If you have been saved then live for Christ so that His light can shine through you.

5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (KJV)

Matthew 5:14-16

14Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
